WELL you may not feel like anyone cares but that's what this post Is for. At least one person in this miserable little world cares. and hopefully things will get better for you soon it can't rain all the time.

This past month has had a lot of ups and downs. My migraines have been less frequent, so I'm not relying on my medication as much. The medication I'm on for depression seems to be helping a bit. Yesterday wasn't too great because my tablet pen stopped working (but I had a backup plan so not a huge issue) and I also somehow managed to bend my glasses while cleaning them.

I'll be starting college in two weeks, at a different campus with all different people. Pretty anxious about that!

I'm a bit behind on my comic due to the tablet thing, but here it is

Wow, I'm surprised. People usually get all weird when 'depression' is mentioned, maybe that only happens with the mention of "self-induced death" now. It's hard to keep up with the trends.
Thank you! I'm skeptical of any and all good things that come to fruition, but it would be nice to get a break.

Haha this is adorable My friends normally do a wellness check on me since sometimes I go MIA.

Im doing...almost alright? My best friend is currently in the hospital because of his narcolepsy and they think he has Sleeping Beauty Syndrome. He's going to be in there for a while, 2-3 weeks and tbh Im worried. He's states away from me and I cant be there for him. I mean he's safe, with family but Im still tense over here, waiting for him to get back online to tell me whats going on so that we can come to a plan about things. If it'll affect him to draw because he does comics or anything else that'll hinder his life.

Other than that, I start back in college next week and not looking forward to it XD It requires me to be their Mon-Fri because I also work at the college.

I am doing just fine! A bit busy with the whole interactive novel thing but im still doing pretty good. Thank you for making a topic like this ^^ Its so beautiful to see people checking up on other people. This world is too sad with people only being concerned with themselves and not the people around them.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and if you're not, I hope things will get better <3

I am in an incredible panic trying to juggle everything in my life. I feel like I need to create more but I tend to procrastinate a lot and I REALLY need to stop that and I need to boost overall effort with comics...I really just want to have some peace of mind knowing I won't wake up to utter abominations that the neighbors raise as "Children".

I hope all of you who are suffering with worse or anything in general can get better too.

Recently I am kinda frustrated. I have a new job, but I feel I'm too far from the level it needs. I just can't find the thing I want to and be able to do in the same time. I only love creating. Tell my stories by my comics and novels although I am not enough good in them to be able to live from them. (Most of us suffers from this, right?) When I tell people that I draw comics they usualy ask "Why don't you try to get money from it?" But I can't really explain them that I am far from that level. XD

But they are right in a way. So recently I just think about how to get some extra from my comics. I came back to Tapastic to work on it. But I really need to work hard because I haven't got so much pages left from my comics I can upload, plus meanwhile I need to work on a oneshot I promised to do from the story a reader of mine wrote. So... thats all I guess. ^^' By the way, you can find my comics here:

I think I'm okay, just a little bit on edge, you know, with some upcoming tests coming up and a few Tapas requirement things. Almost like everyone.

I get that a lot too. "why don't you do it as a career" I lowkey wanna just tell them to screw off it's easier said then done. i sold a few Issues of Los Esmeraldas but then stopped after I got really really discouraged by a few things and regained my confidence in making GodTown but please keep it up I love your art style!!

Hi I'm new to Tapas. I think I'm dong fairly well. I'm just trying to make sure I curb some recent workaholic habits. I just got done doing a weekend long Maker Faire in my region and now I'm working the next week through at my day gig. All extra hours are my own fault for taking them and a major event, so no room to complain.

I just started posting my new comic Wandering Eye.

I've spent the last couple of years planing out some more complex comic plans for other comics I want to make. Wandering Eye is my way of just getting something done. It is a weekly art journal full of experimentation and exploration.

The weird part is me trying to sell comics/art online- discouraging. Me selling comics/art at cons- encouraging...but it's a weird cycle, coz I love doing the 3 day shows like MomoCon & AWA over 1-day shows. I really need to reconnect with the 1-day shows to build a solid readership on that level, and push my online presence(via through a website of my own) to get better results with the larger shows.

I'm so so so glad this thread exists.
My whole comic is based on the ideas of escapsim and wanting to run away from your problems. There are time when I feel really sick of everything, tired of people and and tired of myself, and just want to run off where I don't have to socialize, talk to anyone but myself and just stay there. My whole comics about that kind of depressed mood that people get.

I'm not clinically depressed or anything, i'm quite an extrovert too, its just, just like anyone else in this planet called earth, we all go thorugh tough times, and for me I just want to leave everything when life hits me in the face. I feel bad for complaining because I'm not disabled, i'm not sick, i'm just a person. My school advisor did tell me I could be clinically depressed but that has to be bs. I'm just going through the rough part of life. things are gonna get better soon, then become hell again, and will repeat constantly.

man, im so sorry about all that. It mustve been hard dude, but the important part is beating through the tough times, grab life by the collar and give it the finger and prove you can live thorugh this. because life has cycles, the good parts and the bad parts, if you keep going for a bit more, you might get to the good side. Life is all viewed by a matter of perspective, with a positive outlook, you might be a little happier who knows?

And we whould all love to see your comic! at least I would, even if its not perfect, were all here to help each other out and so we can improve together, so don't fret about sharing your comic,

My life has been pretty much flip-dicking insane since I found out we were welcoming our second kid right after I got fired from my former job, but we've been scrabbling our way back to some semblence of Okay since then and I'm starting to feel downright cheerful again.

It took almost 6 years, but we figured out how to help my kiddo better (he was born with some challenges but he's a tough little guy!) my art friends worked hard to help me get an art job, and we've weathered a lot of family BS that I won't go into. I consider that stuff to be the price for having people I love, and it's a small price.

Once I finally got a better handle on things, I started actually posting on here after making the account a couple of years ago. I really enjoy catching up on what you guys are doing and feeling, and seeing cool topics like this.

As for what I'm working on, mostly Allstory at the moment.

I've got two other series, Awake and The Ruby Machine, completed, and another horror short The Stone Squirrel updating but it's an older comic.

Behind the scenes I'm finalizing a fantasy/horror novel.
