My main issue is that a huge chunk of the "mysteries" don't lead up anything important down the line. I'm halfway through atm and so far there's no real plot to speak of, and everything that does happen seems to only happen bc of Chitanda's curiosity and Oreki's unwillingness to say no.
Idk, like.. I'm enjoying the characters, the soundtrack, the art direction, and the cinematography, but the main thing?? The story??? If there's supposed to be one, it doesn't feel present at all tbh and if it was gonna be like that from the get-go, I'd be more easy-going on it, but the setup was there and not much has been delivered yet. Kinda feels like a waste in some ways, but like I said, I'm halfway through it so idk we'll see if my opinion changes later on
