Nana. After many years of saying I would watch it, I finally did- and it's worth every minute!

I've learned that I am much more resilient than I thought I was. Many things collapsed during COVID for me and not only I managed to get back up (though things never got to be like before), but also, I didn't give up until I did.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I think that the best thing about writing as a kid was mostly that there were no fears about other people's opinions and you could do whatever - nobody would read it anyway! However, as my writing progressed, I started creating better structures and more defined characters. Things were written bec…

You took the words out of my mouth, that combination is the best!

“That’s not possible, Sara, because this is the first time I’ve ever been inside.” https://tapas.io/series/Chronicles-of-Tharsic

I tend to write my dialogues as if it's a scene in a movie or a play and I ask myself a couple of questions: What do you want to take from that specific meeting between characters? How will this dialogue propel the story forward? I've found out that having these two questions answered helps m…

All of this, pretty much!

I do have a big bias! There are characters I really like to write on my novel, but if the way the plot is going doesn't allow me to add them more in the story, I don't.

Thank you so much for sharing this, it will be really useful!

Woke up, looked at the curtains being blown by the wind and though of a story of a curtain whose dream was to become a flying carpet.

I don't think you are wrong in making your own critique of things. Whenever you put something out there, it is no longer belongs to you, but to the people - and therefore it is subject to critique. Also, just because something is iconic, doesn't mean you have to like it. I've read some of those so…

Here's the cover for my novel, created by Solomon Volfovich: [image]

Motivation. I'm currently working in 3 different jobs + a freelance job on the side and I get so exhausted at the end of the day that sometimes I'm just not in the mood to write, though I check the story everydat and try to add a couple morel ines to the next chapter.. Coming up with ideas to get …

Out of curiosity, could you say which stories have filled all of that criteria?

I feel the exact same thing! And it seems that as times passes by, you get more and more frustrated, because things seem to progress so slowly, and new ideas are popping out all the time!

Genre: -Fantasy -Mystery -Action Themes: — Enduring hardships — Quest for freedom in an opressive society — Loyalty and Trust

I agree with recycling stories. Keeping notes on those harts/half written stories are good things for me to come back to every once in a while and see if they're worth it or not. In fact, that's how my novel here on Tapas was created - from this old story I found when I was reading old stuff. Thou…

I LOVE foreshadowing! I love giving hints here and there, even more than writing the big revelations most of the times! Also, whenever I have a scene that is so well planned and so vivid in my head that it just comes exactly as I want it! And let's not forget scenes with some sexual tension betwee…

It's a good starting point! Thank you for the help!

Read a story where there's happy and sad scenes, mistery, flashbacks and non-flashbacks with dudes in cloaks and the main character is a girl that has a REALLY dark past - but it's okay because she also has some sexy time with a rich sexy man!

I like the thank you notes, it's always a sign of appreciation and recognition for subscribing. Also, there are people that have great images to thank with! Unfortunately, I can't send out any images at all because suck at drawing, so I compensate by creating a personal message for each new reader…

It definitely should!

I had fallen asleep on the stairs.

Bragging, you say (cracks fingers)....alright, let's do this! Get to know the "hipster-est" story in all of Tapas (as in, only 20 subscribers), "Chronicles of Tharsic!" Plot This amazing, low mystery fantasy story is about a servant working at the inn of a former-rich-and-powerful-wife-of-a-merc…

Let's see if we actually get some anwsers now!

It seems like most people out here have successfully used reddit to promote their work (especially fantasy), and I would like to post my novel in the forums too. Where would you think it would be a good place to start?

Yup! It seems like we were abandoned on our quest to find out more about this!

I have that exact same question, thanks for asking!

Congratulations, you've done it! Good vibes to you!
