I would say the original Thundercats is anime style from the 80's. It's one of the cartoons that got me inspired for drawing anime style.

Dungeon Meshi is very earnest and straightforward in its narrative. It has a very accessible world and the story isn't 100% aimed at otaku.

And like B.E.S. up above, I will have to wait until I see it all to recommend it because...as stated.. anime series tend to shit the bed at the end of their runs.

Got Dungeon Meshi on my "to watch" list. Heard a lot of great things about it, but as you said, they tend to shit the bed in the long run.

Currently started watching Spy Family. So far I'm pleasantly surprised, actually makes me laugh, which is rare for anime these days.

Every time I hit the end credits I just start vibing because I love that song
