What are some recurring elements in your character designs?

Crazy hair strand that sticks up on their head/sides. (at least the main character or supporting side character always has it)

I also draw main characters usually in pairs of two! Most of them have a supporting/partner that works with them. I usually design them to be contrasting in design and personality.

Bit of a fan of blue hair, deadpan looks, big jackets, and thigh highs, so usually at least one character in each of my ideas has one of these physical attributes.

Staring eyes, weird teeth, large eyebrows and black elements to clothes. I also tend to design characters with reoccuring colors in there design and clothes, if that makes any sense. Black tends to get added in there a lot of time because, well, black goes with almost everything.

Messy hair. Dark circles under eyes. Tired-looking face. Unhealthily pale skin. (looks into the mirror huh, wait...)
Other than that, I have way too many characters who dress in black clothes or/and are some kind of a goth. If they're not among those, they probably dress like a total hipster. Hoodies and sneakers everywhere! Also for some reason I keep putting diamond-shaped elements in my designs.

YASSSS. Duos are the best because sometimes you can ship them together. At least that's what I think.

Masks and basically anything that would help to conceal a character's face, like hoods and goggles. As well as stuff that would go around character's necks cuz I think it's cool. I have a strong aversion to sleeves for some reason; my main character refuses to wear them no matter what and my other one is just shirtless.

I'm obsessed with adding lots of details and small things into my characters outfits; bows, buttons, stripes, flowers, gold lining, frills etc. A plain shirt is something I could draw but I'd most likely add a million folds and creases to it.
