Destiny's Echo is a non-serialized comic strip, so each page us self-containe, but there's still a cohesive conceot behind the jokes.
My strip's only on its third page so far, but I personally believe the strengths of my comic is that it combines zany and eclectic jokes with a solid overarching concept that's versatile and cohesive enough so that things won't get stale or too boring or repetitive. Anyone who reads my strip will have no idea what's coming next, and I deliberately structured the comic in such a way that even if there's a couple of days or so between updates, every next strip will actually be worth the wait because one strip always does something differently than the previous one.
Also, my characters are diverse enough so that anyone who reads my comic will be able to see themselves in at least one of them, making it all the more relatable. Also, the characters have superpowers. So...yeah.
In addition to that, my comic features a superpower system I developed (that draws inspiration from a variety of sources, from anime to quantum physics to self-help literature) that ensures that a character's superpowers and abilities are reflections of who they are as people. This ensures that each character each contributes their own unique thing to the overall narrative, which makes things more enjoyable.
Also, the subject matter of the comic is wide and eclectic and diverse, because I designed it to never be a one-trick pony that always resorts to the same boring, uninspired, repetitive sitcom gags over and over and over again.
However, my comic is only on its third page, so these strengths will be more solidified as the comic grows and develops. I planned out the next 30 or so strips though, so my vision is still cohesive.
