Honesty time. I used to diss Rings of Saturn constantly as one of those, noise pretending to be well written music bands. Realization time. I freaking love these guys, they really are talented musicians. I've come to appreciate technical death metal and noisecore over the last year and a half. I'll save my artistic distaste for country music. XD
