I forgot about this album. Man. It's really good and pretty unique in sound. It's kind of like Lamb of God fused with Korn.
One of those bands that just never gained any traction. A double threat because they were independent, and a Christian band. It's a pity because some of these tracks are absolutely smoking.
Seven and Genetic Rage are bangers of the highest order.

The Devil You Know is still my favorite off of it. That intro stompy riff just destroys.

Cowboys from Hell

The funny thing with this album for me is that the songs most people love to talk about (Cemetery Gates, and Domination) aren't the standout tracks. For me it's:
Psycho Holiday
Clash With Reality
Cowboys from Hell
and
Shattered

The first two are good, don't get me wrong, but I often skip them in favor of the above. Clash With Reality in particular just goes so hard for me. Those groove riffs are brutal.
I don't know, when it comes to Pantera I tend to like the deeper cuts.

Those tracks do hit pretty hard. Cowboys from Hell definitely has to be among the top opening tracks of all time and Psycho Holiday has this heavy bluesy groove to it that just absolutely slaps.
In this Pantera album in particular, however, the standout track for me definitely has to be Heresy. That guitar opening gets me pumped every single damn time.

Oh yeah Heresy's intro has a really neat sound to it. But Cowboys From Hell just doesn't screw around at all, and lets you know exactly what Pantera is going to do to you with the rest of the songs.

Well from the title to its sound it's no stretch to say that Cowboys From Hell is Pantera.
