Nothing like 2000's "pogi" rock

(Thrash/Groove Metal)

A Vinnie Paul groove is always a classic choice

Great Southern Trendkill is a hell of an opener

Layne Staley's voice never disappoints either

These guys always put me in the right mind to write

If there's one band I'd want to see live, it'd be these guys. But even without Covid, that's not likely to happen at all.

Mike Patton's vocals are just always it for me.

(Heavy Metal) This song's mellow intro leads perfectly to one hell of a song.

(Experimental Nu-Metal) The only word I can really use to describe these guys is... trippy

(90's Alt Rock)

Hahaha we have a band like that as well here in the Philippines, they're Tubero (Filipino for plumber) Their songs lyrics are um... "rich profound Filipino text"

Wow they made a short Crossover song about Crossover songs being too damn short, that's... a m a z i n g

Certainly something you see in early Skychurch as well. Hell even Delubyo, their most popular song, is only 40 seconds in the album.

A short length is something far too common in this genre. It's almost as if its their intent to make you want to listen to the whole album.

That drummer is Robert Dela Cruz, yeah he's really sick. He's also part of another band called Queso but they're more of a Nu-Metal/Reggae combination. Glad to see you like 'em.

(Philippine Hardcore/Thrash Metal) I wish these guys were more popular outside of here. In my opinion, the best metal band in the Philippines

Yikes didn't see this last night, but yeah I have heard of Overkill. Never really got into them though, I'm not really found of the "Thrash vocal style."

Well from the title to its sound it's no stretch to say that Cowboys From Hell is Pantera.

Those tracks do hit pretty hard. Cowboys from Hell definitely has to be among the top opening tracks of all time and Psycho Holiday has this heavy bluesy groove to it that just absolutely slaps. In this Pantera album in particular, however, the standout track for me definitely has to be Heresy. That…

Nice, Fight 'Em 'Til You Can't is such a banger
