Yikes didn't see this last night, but yeah I have heard of Overkill. Never really got into them though, I'm not really found of the "Thrash vocal style."

Okay cool, I get that, Bobby has really high and harsh vocals, not for everyone.

I find them to be pretty epic considering they've got 19 studio albums. Dang impressive, they're still active and also have two of their founding members remaining. And, at least in my opinion, all of the albums are good, not a single bad one there, somehow they've managed to write albums that are distinct from each other over the course of 30 years without losing their signature sound.

That drummer is Robert Dela Cruz, yeah he's really sick. He's also part of another band called Queso but they're more of a Nu-Metal/Reggae combination. Glad to see you like 'em.

Yeah man, I love Hardcore/Thrash there's not enough bands out there doing it either.
These guys are really sick too.

A short length is something far too common in this genre. It's almost as if its their intent to make you want to listen to the whole album.

Agreed. The whole album only clocks in at 22 minutes. It's really good though, the drumming is extremely tight and aggressive, and the tone is just punchy. Wish it were just a tad longer.

Certainly something you see in early Skychurch as well. Hell even Delubyo, their most popular song, is only 40 seconds in the album.

A lot of old-school Hardcore Punk was like that. And so the Crossover bands just followed suit. But...at least the riffs are good XD

Hahaha we have a band like that as well here in the Philippines, they're Tubero (Filipino for plumber)
