Speaking of live bands. I got to see Saxon two years ago when they were on tour with Judas Priest.
They actually came to Oklahoma. According to Biff Byford, it had been almost 40 years since they had been.
The best part? I didn't even know they were on the tour until a week before I went. (My wife bought me the ticket as a Christmas present.)
Saxon is one of the bucket list bands for me. And I was lucky enough to see em. Their set was pretty magical, at least for me. It was great.

In my opinion this is an album every metalhead should listen to. Regardless of genre taste, Saxon is legendary and definitely doesn't get enough credit.
The title track is one of my favorite songs to play on guitar. That main riff is so full of energy.
The best part about Saxon, is they've aged so well musically. Their newer material incorporates Power Metal elements, rounding out their sound.
