In "Lyra's Magnum Opus", Sana is irritated by having to repeat things. Often, he has to repeat what he says or have others repeat what they said. He also doesn't like having to do repetitive actions, especially having to redo something. This is the main (and secret) reason why he does not like to record music for release. The only music Lyra fans (Lyra is the band Sana is in) have is live music, snippets from their live shows on Youtube. This is one reason why their band never took off. The rest of the band is respectful of this, and also they all prefer live performing to being recording artists anyway.

What about band live sessions? You know, like when artists record their songs as just one take altogether as a band, rather than the individual instruments and vocals a layer at a time? I know this used to be more of a thing in the last century, but I have a band in one of my stories that recorded their album this way because their leader had a "vision" to make it feel like people were in the room as they rocked out, rather than making it feels more like a traditional recorded album. (Not everyone in the group was a big fan of this vision lol, but they did it.)

Melissa hates hates hates being called "Little Miss." She doesn't mind being called little. She knows she's little, but it's usually connected to someone 100% not listening to what she's saying in rather serious situations like when someone rear ended her car and the police station would not hear her complaint.

I think someone hurting other people is beyond a pet peeve. pet peeves are inherently at least relatively trivial

Aria hates being chained but she is literally chained to a corpse and now she needs to find about her lost memory and the identity of the corpse
meanwhile kyle hates gold but is now adorned in gold after becoming an angel
Eira doesn't have any pet peeves as such but she really hates when someone demeans fellow woman

Believe it or not, Psychoborg's is OCD. He likes things being organized a certain way and he likes it when things work. When his stuff is not organized the usual way, he will take time to put it back that way. And when his gadgets are broken, it will cause him stress. Astra's pet peeve are bad manners and bad hygiene especially when it comes to smells. She cannot stand slobs nor does she like being one. She likes to be clean and dress nice.

Beth doesn't like being confused for white. She looks very white, but she's sick and tired of being considered separate from the black relatives she spent most of her time with because she has green eyes and blonde hair.

Dorine doesn't like most church ladies. She thinks they're stuck up and judgemental, though this is certainly not true of all of them. It is true of the "ever sweet Miss Pearl."

Caramella Red's pet peeve is anyone touching and putting her art supplies somewhere else other than where she left it last.

A mistake, a wrong decision, a missed opportunity, all wrapped in the same regret that led to the ink on paper weeping about all that should have been said and done before time came and went. A story inspired by Taylor Swift's Evermore, Letter Addressed to the Fire will take you to a trip down the star-crossed soulmates' memory lane and tell you about all that was only whispered in the wind twelve years ago.

relatable lol. moving people's stuff can be so annoying

Elio's pet peeves- His curls don't want to cooperate with him so he has to slick it or look like he rolled out of bed, Max joking about ordering pineapple on pizza, people walking too slow in front of him, people singing on the subway especially in the morning, being late, emails, and being interrupted.
Max's pet peeves- People constantly singing the wrong lyrics, people making fun of his car, Elio rolling his eyes, the toilet paper being in the wrong direction, people playing video games with the sound on,someone chewing loudly or with mouth open,gossip/rumors,people cracking their knuckles, and moving his stuff.

Leander hates when people are on their phones instead of listening to him. Also when others roll their eyes at him. And he hates it when people seem to listen to him, and then after he's spoken they just say "I understood none of that. Anyway.."

Stace hates any ringtone that is not a 'beepbeepbeep' ... like, music, songs, animal noises, any other ringtone just gets under his skin. He also dislikes when people are laughing, and then look at him and stop. Because they were totally talking about him. How dare :frowning:

this is understandable honestly

Therese doesn't like people bringing things like artificial cleaning products, or chemicals of any kind, which is a big reason why she makes most of her families food, clothes, soap, shampoo and more herself from scratch. She is the ultimate crunchy mommy. But since it poses an actual risk to her health, it might ot count as a pet peeve

Mandy hates when people comment on her muscles. SHE is pretty proud of them and how strong she is, but 99% of the time when people comment on it, it's not complimentary. it's similar to the way Alicia feels about her weight. She's confident in her pretty, squishy body, but that doesn't mean she wants every rando commenting on her weight

Mandy's story

Alicia's story:

“Alicia?!”

“Sorry, I’m just feeling a little queasy,” I mumble, but I’m not sure my sickness is loud enough for him to hear me.

I take my measurements quickly - almost certainly getting them wrong - and leave the measuring tape on Kattar’s bed. He’ll almost certainly be annoyed - but I have to just deal with that today-

“Took you long enough,” Kattar smiles a little teasingly as I drag myself back into the living room.

“I’ve gained a few inches,” I mutter, sitting at the opposite end of the couch, not looking him in the face.

I watch out of the corner of my eye as he’s washed in-

Worry-

About me, please.

I’m not okay.

“Is that something to cry over, bella?” he smiles nervously, putting one hand to my burning cheek and trying to get me to look at him - and his words start to mesh into each other-

It’s just the accent - But that’s not what I hear.

“-It wouldn’t kill you to gain a few pounds. You’d lost too much weight back then.”

“Aish,” I shake my head trying to shake off my anxiety, but it clings to me like - “You sound like a mother…”

“Ahhhh, that won’t do,” he shakes his head, cringing a little, “What should I say then? I prefer my sweetheart a little softer.”

“Not on your life,” I redden through the discomfort, “That’s too bad. Don’t go starting trouble.”
