Alicia's ideal type isn't something I intentionally planned for her, and I don't think she realizes it consciously, but she seems to only date (though she's only gone out with two people) pretty faced medium brown Hispanic guys with sharp noses. She knows she likes pretty guys, but the fact that both her sweethearts have been Hispanic is probably a coincidence.

Kattar has no "type." He's attracted to Alicia, specifically and exclusively. She has been his first and only crush his entire life.

Shannon has a very specific type. He likes short, cute, kind of doll-ish girls with small faces and dark hair.

Jinwoo may or may not know specifically what he means when he says "a girl like a princess," but he likes very pretty and sweet, girly girls with a pretty taste in clothes, though to be fair, even if Kimberly didn't wear pretty clothes he would still like her. He would just want her to start wearing pretty clothes XDDD.

Kimberly likes tall, clean-shaven guys, and she's a fan of long hair. Complexion or ethnicity matter very little to her, and since features tend to shift drastically from ethnicity to ethnicity, she's not super set on those too specifically either.

Love this prompt!

For Apparent Secrets, the roommates' types are:

  • Iris: she likes taller men, but isn't terribly picky about body type or features other than height
  • Zayzann: he's fond of strong women with dark eyes and narrow features
  • Byxx: he likes roly-poly softies with fair hair
  • Khazmine: she doesn't have a "romantic" type, but Khazmine is drawn to protect the weak, and appreciates clever people

roly-poly? does that mean roundy lol?

YK, despite the fact that Kattar had his hair dyed a lighter shade, as does Jinwoo, and Kimberly is naturally blonde, hair color doesn't seem to be included in any of my character's ideal types except for Shannon's. And none of them have a preference for fair hair...except...maybe the people lightening their hair preferring it for themselves.

Thank you for making various prompts! Always love them.

-- Cenric: Not picky about appearance. Someone who does not nag a lot because he is tired from nagging.

-- Atreus: a certain girl that gets rowdy, awkward, yet strangely brave and has initiative, sometimes meek so he has oppotunities to 'protect' her

-- Erhard: never thought of having any girlfriend but he loves a company of someone who can discuss things with him over tea during a quiet evening. Also, someone who does not overuse perfume.

-- Ilze: Someone who actually loves her, willing to fight for her, and able to handle her behavior. Physically, a tall man (she always love to see tall men)

For Kira and her friend group in Keeper of Demonic Forces:

Kira: "Definitely a nice personality" (either tall girls or guys that have a slight feminine look to them, they've also got to have really nice hair and gorgeous legs, doesn't mind race as long as they've got nice skin and a pretty smile)

Kuro: He's pan so he's not picky as long as they're cute and shy but he's particular to blondes.

Troy: hates everyone and doesn't see the appeal.

Jade: Definitely anyone shorter than her, goes for both girls and guys.

Momo: Anyone she finds exciting and brave.

Haru: Girls that are kind and physically strong.

does anybody prefer short guys? just wondering.

height isn't actually a big factor for me, so while some of my character's prefer tall guys I don't care either way.

There is one! She is a secondary character that has not made appearance, and she was married to a man that shorter than average in the country. The reason is, short men looks friendlier so she prefers one.

yeah, kind of why Alicia tends to find very tall guys a little unnerving. she is far below average height at 4'9, and though Kattar is a full foot taller than her, he wasn't when they first met, so she had time to get used to him before the height gap was so massive. Shannon on the other hand is 6'3 so....yeah.

André: guys more short that him, brave and desterminad
Marlon: atletic people and a good humour
Guilherme: dont have a type
Isaac: gotic and fashion like him, and love the same artists

Glad that Alicia shares that. Sometimes they are not even doing anything, but they a bit unnerving because... seems dominating? At least that's for that character of mine (which I am not spoiling even the name for now)

lol, yeah, you can feel swamped by the height, even if they're as friendly as can be

Alrighty, I’ve never put much thought into this, but this seems fun
Eva probably puts someone’s personality way above their looks. That being said, tall, with long hair.
Slinky’s type is probably just “motherly and soft”. Don’t know how to explain it very well.

David does not have a type other than Romeo, but it’s not like he’s seen enough other people to form an actual type
Romeo likes tall people and “strong opinions” for lack of a better term. He specifically doesn’t like blondes at ALL.

Okay, Well Blue Fedora has a thing for buff people who can kick some butt every once in a while. Basically a superhero type

Otto likes them kinda wimpy and nerdy lol. :joy: Someone he can pick up and carry up and down their stairs.

They don't have to be wimpy and nerdy to be able to pick them up. how about just tiny?

Kattar could carry Alicia before his back injury because she was a foot shorter than him, but for most of her life before her break up, she was actually pretty tough. she had to be, being a hand-me-down almost-foster kid. and not really that nerdy outside of her interest in painting

Well, I was talking more of the mindset. :joy: Sorry if it came off kinda...off. Otto is strong enough to pick up a person of any body type. But I meant to say he likes to go for the nerdier types, and he likes being able to take care of someone. :grinning:

Ahh, but honestly everyone needs to be cared for in some way or another. That's actually very much so the idea behind "Damsel in the Red Dress."

Kattar liked Alicia to be a Damsel so that she would need him, when he needed to be cared for and couldn't physically care for him anymore, it shattered him. never realizing that everyone still needs emotional support and care, even to just be talked sweetly to and treated like an angel sometimes.

Fourthly Puzzled
Tina and Georgia: Attracted to each other, no matter what.
Rachael: Strong and cocky men, but she's also in love with Kevin most of the time.
Andy: Girls who are kind to others, but mostly likes Claire.

Human Yet Hybrid
Edwina: Not into any relationship, but as long as someone's into the same achievements she's done she'll might date a man.
Ida: She's a shy person and isn't sure who or what she's into yet, especially when it comes to a relationship. But likes to be good to others as long as they show her respect to her is all that matters.
Preston: Into the girls he thinks are cute, smart, fun, and adventurous.
Tobar: Unknown

Rune: She likes people she can rely on and that make her feel safe. She likes being picked up and held so anyone bigger/taller than herself is always a plus.
Anri: He likes strong women in particular-- but at the same time that terrifies him, so a gentle kind soul goes a long way.

Timothy: He's always had a taste for the unique, girls who don't slot into the society he's born into. He doesn't want someone dainty, he's here for strong, hard working gals.
Gretel: She's a robot who lacks opinions.
Hansel: His type is one person in particular, and try not to think about it too hard.

Iris: has no romantic interest. Ace.
Isis: he is drawn to self destruction. He goes into things thinking he doesn't deserve love, so he gets hurt plenty. His type are people who will hurt him. Generally looks don't matter, being immortal and having watched lovers age and die looks hardly matter to him (or any of them) anymore.
Neph: is a romantic at heart, flattery will always go a long way.
Mysterious unnamed brother: The only person he can ever love is himself. Power hungry with a god complex so. Anyone who worships him will do-- or anyone who he can force.

These prompts are always the funnest way to promote and share OCs.

Paul: He is very much into guys who are more dominant than him, both physically and emotionally. He wants someone who can make the first move (he sure as hell won't do that!) and be able to push him out of his comfort zone. He also likes someone who shares the same fashion sense as him, such as dark and baggy clothes.

Howard: Howard has one type and that is his wife. He worships his half-cat, half-goddess wife. I don't think he has ever been attracted to anyone else but her, but I think that's for all cat in his realm.

Alex: Alex is not to picky with who he dates. He is only attracted to guys (like Paul). He is training to be a musician, so he would like someone who enjoys music. He is also into someone who can handle all his hugging (lol).

Brad: Women. Brad loves women. Short women, tall women, chubby women, thin women. Maybe the only women she would not date are those who are mean, arrogant, greedy, racist, homophobic, transphobic, and allergic to cats.

Yikes, i hope he'll recover from that

Howard is a cat and his wife is half cat half goddess, or is this a human x cat-girl type thing?

Hallie's ideal type is a man taller than her with good facial proportions and sweet muscles. Taller than her is tricky tho, being that she's six feet tall:

https://tapas.io/episode/3133706

Neither Mrs. Moon nor her friend Daphne have a type, they have always found men and romance to be a waste of time, so with the exception of their sons, they don't deal with them. Yes they have biological (sons), and the fact that they have them is tied to some serious questions concerning their character.

Melissa's ideal type is her husband, though he may not have been her conscious type before she started dating and married him. He's medium brown with a short neat beard and short hair. Fairly muscular, but not ripped, and slightly stocky. He's also slightly tall, even when not compared to Melissa, at 5'10 (just slightly above average.) Since he's also quite a few (9) years older than her, he's already started to get some gray in his hair and beard.

Ethan’s type is very easy to figure out. Just fill out this handy-dandy form!

Are you a woman? (Or woman-adjacent sentient being) YES__ NO__

Do you like him? (Optional) YES__ NO__

Do you exist? (Optional) YES__ NO__

If you filled out the first question with a yes, congratulations, you’re Ethan’s type. Get ready for a ton of clingyness.

that in an of itself makes it very hard for him to find a girlfriend

Correct. Doesn’t help that I, the author, intend on never giving him any canon girlfriends.

Emelia's ideal type is a black man of a considerably dark complexion, with a full, but not super long, neat beard. She only dates (and is married) within her ethnicity, and she's rather judgmental of people who don't. She's not very happy about her daughter's celebrity crush who (spoiler) happens to be a character who is already introduced in the story.

Oh, can we talk fashion for a second? Does anybody have an ideal way of dressing and styling they find most attractive for significant others, cuz I entirely forgot to mention it.

Alicia is not fashionable herself, so she almost always couldn't care less. The exception being like...super tight pants/leather pants, and anytime guys wear shorts shorter than their knees.

Kattar is very fashionable, but he usually cares most about aesthetics matching the person and their features. That said, he only has one girl he's interested in, so his taste would be specifically catered to Alicia. For her, he'd be thinking outfits along the lines of girly but with charisma, and a bit of cool girl vibe. You could break that idea down to a dress and a leather jacket, or a sweater dress x a thick black belt and ankle boots. (he's going to get her wearing this in a later chapter.)

Ooooh, that sounds fun to think about =

Eva is probably into “hippie” clothing for lack of a better word
Slinky is not aware of clothes
David is probably really into the stereotypical and cheesy “bad boy” stereotype clothes. Think leather jackets, or big ass boots, sunglasses, etc. imagine what a silly tween movie from like, the 90s would call a bad boy
Romeo likes suits. Any gender, any color. Suits.

this is how you get arrested kids

Leia Taylor (Rigamarole): Muuuuuuuscles...

this might be bad lol, but she likes guys who look like they workout. Short hair. strong jawlines. toothpaste model smiles. But she also kind of sort of has two crushes. And the second one doesn't really fit this aesthetic at all, which I guess proves that even if you write down an ideal type, that doesn't dictate who you'll actually fall for.

Aesthetic wise, she doesn't really care about fashion almost ever, for herself or anyone else (but she's not as bad as Alicia lol.) She's fine with anything reasonable.

Kevin doesn't appear to have a very specific taste, but he is very specifically interested in Leia though not for the best reasons under the sun.

Fashion-wise, he prefers girls wearing "girlier" things like sundresses and skirts. And other things specific enough to be creepy that I won't go into because tbh, he's the biggest creep I've written since Shannon, possibly even worse.

this is available for free for everyone to read on my Patreon public posts

Dominic's sisters will razz him to his dying day because they know his type so clearly. He likes girls who are taller than him with dark complexions. He finds long legs particularly attractive and they give him no end of grief because of that. He also finds women who aren't inherently shy all the time but can get shy and flustered cute and attractive. He doesn't care a lot about fashion as long as it suits the person.

Carmen (Thunder Chicken) from Wild Nights, Hot and Crazy Days is into the stereotypical nerdy-geeky type. Physically, he likes a thin-muscular build, either very tall or very short for some reason, glasses, freckles, big Adam's apple, ginger hair is a bonus...

Daecon, from Finding Daecon's Way, would not be surprised to hear this, because he is into the same things and his lover, Evander, meets just about all of these desires.

Rachel: Um, I guess someone who makes me laugh and laughs with me. Oh, but it's not all about fun and games. I'd like to be able to collaborate on serious things, too. They'd have to accept me for who I am though, strengths and flaws alike. They'd also have to like to travel. I keep ending up in weird places! It wouldn't hurt if they could make a good cheesecake!

Nora: My future husband is an insanely rich and ruggedly handsome interstellar traveler. We'll meet about six years from now. He'll be a little upset that I can't travel with him due to extreme motion sickness, but as they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

When the President said to immerse ourselves in the project, this was NOT what I had in mind!

I really should’ve taken the publisher’s employment contract more seriously…
