What art mediums do you all use? Can you post examples of your work and give a description on how you draw your artwork?

I have a Wacom Intuos Draw connected to my laptop and I use Manga Studio for digital
Here's the kind of thing I can draw with that

And I use ProMarkers for traditional. I don't think they're as good as Copics- but I still love them.

And for both I just sketch and ink (using different layers on digital and erasing my pencil for traditional) and colour- with the process changing between traditional and digital.

I use a Wacom intuos pen and touch along with my Macbook pro, iMac, and iPad Pro with Apple Pencil.

In addition, the programs I use are from Adobe CC such as Illustrator CC, and Photoshop CC.

I sketch out my ideas on the iPad pro before working on the Macbook pro or iMac. Once the idea is set in stone, I get to work. On illustrator I use the pen tool and brush tool. Once the comic is done, I transfer it to photoshop for final touches and image resizing. It takes me around 8 hours to complete a comic but it depends on the topic considering I now have a style guide that contains all of my character poses.

and Art program: Fire alpaca, it has a comic option and it's pretty convenient! The scary thing for me with starting comics was always the LAYOUT! The comic option helps soooo much with it! ;w;

I use Clip Studio Paint to panel layout, pencil, & ink my page. I then save as a Photoshop file and go to PS to color. I toggle back & forth between PS and CSP until the page is the way I want. I save it as a tiff and take it to Illustrator to letter. I then bring it all back to PS where I merge everything. One of the 2 reasons I use PS to color instead of CSP is that I dont like Clip Studio's gradient tool; I happen to do a good bit of gradients in my backgrounds most of the time...the other reason is that I have some Kyle Webster brush sets that I use from time to time.

For lettering- I havent learned all of Clip Studio's functions; Ive been using Illustrator for a while and in producing pages, it just makes the process that much faster. I've told myself that one day I'm gonna sit down and get Clip Studio all figured out- but until then, I'm good with what I'm doing.

Traditional: crayons, watercolors and ballpoint pens are my favorite.
Digital: wacom Bamboo + Paint tool SAI. I then use PS just for lettering/final touches, the brushes feel so sluggish compared to SAI :V

When it comes to sketching, I prefer doing it traditionally with pencil and paper. (shown here: the first panel of my most recent comic)

Once I'm done sketching everything for the comic, I scan it in and do the lineart, coloring, shading, speech bubbles, etc.
For that I use the Wacom Intuos Comic and Clip Studio Paint. Usually, the backgrounds are simple enough so I don't have to prepare a sketch for that.

I like to do mostly digital stuff. For digital art I use a WACOM tablet and the following programs:

Paint Tool SAI + Photoshop

I like to use SAI for painterly effects and also for vector stuff. There's all kinds of free SAI brush settings online people share. I add text boxes and etc and position different elements in Photoshop. I've also used Manga Studio for that.

Photoshop only

I use Photoshop almost exclusively when doing complicated photomanipulations like the girl and keys above.

Pen and Ink + Photoshop

Here I took a pen sketch of an alien, set it on Multiply in Photoshop, and did a bunch of weird things with layers of ink spirograph drawings I'd made for my kid underneath.

Mandelbulb 3D + Photoshop

I love this free 3D fractal program. I make a fractal like one of the creature's vertebra and then in Photoshop I can alter and repeat it to make a spine, or reflect and alter it to make a body and wings, and so on.

I use a Wacom Bamboo Pen + Touch, and CLIP STUDIO PAINT.
A lot of people who convert to CLIP STUDIO have only good things to say about it so I guess I'm not alone in thinking it's a great program.
When I work traditionally in sketchbooks I use ballpoint, or my Pentel pocket brush... I also like Staedtler felt-tipped markers.

i go mostly traditional, to me nothing beats the pen and paper, sure it has it's flaws but i enjoy it,,i use any mechanical pencil and a non photo blue pencil for sketch and such, i ink with a platinum super fine fountain pen and sharpies, color i love using water soluble pencils, the derwent inktese water color pencils have the best color , but i also have the normal watercolor pencils from derwent and their water soluble graphite pencils to,

I use a huion tablet which is cheaper than a waicom but still really good. I spent 66 USD on it. My art program is fire alpaca which is a free download.

I'm using good old fashion traditional tools for drawing and inking Vulperra. Blue pencil for the drawing, sometimes other colours if I need to use prespective. I also split the page into 2 or 3 parts, so I can draw big and still use A4 size paper.

When I ink, I'll use dip pen and india ink. Then I fill the black with brush pen and use fineliner for details.
Colouring is done in Clip Studio Paint.

Well, since I totally suck with digital artwork I ink and colour my pics without a computer =)

Most of my coloured artworks is done by ink, Copic Ciao, watercolours AND coloured pencils =) I really love to combine every medium I've got and this looks somwhat like that (it's a cover illustration for my manga Remember)

For my manga pages I do everything per hand except screentones and lettering =)

Here's a step-by-step for one of the pages:

I start off with the pencil on a spare piece of paper so I can really put pressure on the lines. I do that a lot and it's a pain in the a....pocalypse to erase that afterwards.
This is why i trace the sketch on a blank piece of paper (200g/m) then ink it. The tracing step is also the step where I make final adjustments or corrections. =)

Finally I scan it with 600 dpi, put it into Manga Studio EX 4 (old, I know XD) and attach screentones and text =)
Voilà, done! =D

And the best part is printing it
