Things we don't like:
Hubby is asleep so Ill check but I want to say drawing the robots he made to look COOL but then it's like... oh they be cool but I HAVE TO DRAW THEM A TON NOW
For me, it's the panic of 'did I set this up right for plot and feels'
Bee caused me such anxiety on did I set her up right I finally broke down, found a couple non comic maker readers and had them read to the end of the chapter ahead of everyone. Even then I fretted.
Things we like:
He's been liking learning new tricks and finishing something up just to see how beautiful it is, or cool it looks. He'll openly admit when a comic isn't his strongest but even then he'll find a scene he drew he really liked.
I honestly like how this story has given me some confidence. I feel a bit more sure that people will like my stories now (yes I still have the panic attacks over it but now I tell people the story!) and I'm willing to try things. I'm now working on a collab and a proper short novel as a result.
I'm not quitting my day jo as a teacher anytime soon, but it feels good.
Something we both love about this is he comments and interacting with the readers as well.
