What did everyone get for Christmas?

plus a week off from work.

Oh and glasses coz I'm getting old af, and need them to see print from far distances & driving at night.

I also got some Moomin stuff!
I don't even celebrate Christmas, but my cousin was in Finland and remembered she has a crazy Moomin fan in her family. I was not expecting anything at all so that was very nice. It's a little pouch with printed Moomin characters, it will be great for pencils.

When I was a kid and saw my dad get excited about getting socks and underwear for Christmas I thought he was insane. Now I'm in my late 30's and I was stoked to get socks and underwear. I even got this super-cozy pair of Muk-muk socks that basically replace slippers and I won't stop wearing them around the house.

Also got a small bottle of Five Farms Irish cream, which has to be the best Irish cream I've ever tasted in my life. It's small batch stuff, kinda hard to get a hold of sometimes, but ohhhh my god, so good! Highly recommended.

Luigi's Mansion 3 and a gaming chair to replace the old office chair I was using. Sitting at my desk feels a lot better now!

I got a new reading lamp, a mug that says "Mother Effing Home Owner," an Animal Crossing shirt, and a Squirrel Girl action figure. Plus my chef husband cooked dinner, so we had roast duck breast with an orange sauce, California rice pilaf with black eyed peas and collared greens, and glazed heirloom carrots. It was a good day!

Some new sketchbooks, charcoal pens, two nice bottles of Zombie Killer Cherry Cyser (very delish cider, lemme tell you), lovely sweaters, and a wee bit of money.

Christmas has past that point where the family mostly buys the same gifts for each other because we're all just...predictable and don't want much else XD

Thanks! He actually likes it a lot surprisingly after the initial squirming when we tried to put him into it. Can't wait to take him to places like coffee shops and pet stores in it!

I also got some art books, some games for my Switch, a cook book, and some gift cards and gourmet, chocolates among some other things.

I asked for a new graphic tablet and an electric toothbrush, and I got those.

My mom also bought me all sort of cute shit, like two circular lip balms in the shape of a fox & a penguin, penguin christmas lights that will be on my coffee table all day everyday 100% I mean these things are so cute I cri

She also got me a Hedwig coffee mug, and two shirts which had Stitch and Toothless in it and HTTYD and Lilo & Stitch are my favourite movies so that made me really happy.
