What do you love drawing about your characters?

For Room for Improvement, just like drawing the characters in general. Theyre just so simple and mutlicolred and I really think they can be very unique. Also the simplicity allows for more distortion of the face and wackier facial expressions. But something in SPECIFIC... Johnny O'range's smile and Arty Purpull's face. It puts a smile on my face whenever i draw those.

The facial expressions. Also the hair. I love drawing girly hairstyles.
Long hair, short hair, ringlets, twin ponytails, buns, I love them all.

I love drawing emotions, and emotions are shown not only through expressions, it's much more. Also I love drawing action scenes.

I think my favorite thing about drawing our characters is playing with their emotive state, and frankly...just seeing the story play out! It's like being a writer and finally getting to see the movie you wrote on screen!

Its something about Ellie in Creepie Ellie that just makes me want to draw her all the time, her creepiness, her dark side I just don't know.

My last comic I did I just couldn't get into drawing my main character (the human girl) at all so I just sort of opted not putting her in. That is why I decided to put it on hiatus till I feel like drawing it again.

I also think that I made Ellie more simple but with more emotion than the other girl.

I think out of all of my OCs, drawing Tyler's hair is the most satisfying. It's so unusual and has movement/body in it which I like. I also love my characters' simplicity for CNS, and when they're drawn well (which definitely isn't always) I enjoy it immensely!!
But honestly, drawing the accessories/injuries/scars/blood on my characters is my absolute favorite. No worries, I'm aware I'm a sadist. Poor characters

I just love drawing people in general... The fact that I can start out with a blank piece of paper and end up with a character who, for me, feels like they live and breathe inside my head, just excites me so much! I feel like my characters are alive and clamouring to be talked about and drawn, and that's the best feeling ever. They just don't feel like my creations any more, they feel like real people.

Scruffy people in ragged clothing, messy hair, scars, stubble, etc., who are also super grumpy? Totallly my thing. Also, small cute things, to contrast the big and grumpy things.

Hmmm, I am a sucker for reptiles, monsters, slimy things, and prehistoric beasts . . . and they come out being so adorable. That and character interaction is fun.

I like drawing the most noses, small noses, large noses, pointy, etc...and nice eyes. I have a nose/eye fetish and I'm sure looking at my work, it is no secret.
And ponytails.
And drawing smug dorks with ponytails such as the main character in Unravel are no exception to this.
And if we talk anatomical drawings...collarbones and the swimmer's "V" on the hips are totally worth it for me in the end.
