What do you think of Bleach TYBW?

For me personally I think the Soul Society arc and the arrancar saga was was the best Bleach had but the Thousand Year Blood War isn't as good as those two other arcs I mentioned. TYBW seems rushed to me

Author got axed basically that's why it got rushed. It took years for TYBW to get animated since anime got axed way before the manga.

They also left lots of unresolved issues. Like what happened to Nel and the other arrancar. Where is yachiru or who is she? Is ichigo stronger than his final form now?

It was messy overall.

That being said for me best arc plot wise is probably first arc but my favorite arc is Arrancar arc. I just loved Ulquiorra and Nel. Plus the aizen betrayal plot was ufff.

To me Bleach ended at the end of Aizen arc. That was the best moment to end - Ichigo sacrificed his powers, his connection to Soul Society in order to save everyone and now has to go back to his regular life. But what if there's a chance for his powers to come back? And... this question should have stayed open... the fullbringers (that was their name) arc felt really unnecessary and then the quincy thing happened... half the cast got wiped out and... what I've read of it just got dumb, I couldn't finish it, I'm pretending all this nonsense didn't happen, Ichigo didn't end up with a girl he has shown no feelings for, didn't get the same dad hairstyle as Naruto and didn't have a little clone of himself with the girl he never really bonded with (nothing against Orihime, I just don't really remember him showing her any more attention than his other friends 'xD)

I definitely lost interest around the Arrancar arc. For me, Soul Society was the peak of Bleach, and once it was over, the series never got back up there again. Too many characters being introduced rather than really developing the ones that existed who were still hanging around (Tatsuki deserved better, and her whole position as Ichigo's oldest friend and the stuff about her gradually developing powers was so interesting it was just wasted and she had such a cool design aaaaaggh), and Ichigo's lack of a strong personal motivation or long-term goal really started to harm the series.

It's sadly a victim of a common problem; the series got so incredibly popular that the editors got scared to touch it. Tight's wild ideas were part of what made the series great, so I get it.... but he really could have used more guidance on story structure and stuff.

Is it still worth watching? I do have a lot of fond memories of Bleach, but haven't caught up with any of it since it finished years ago!

Ichigo and Orihime never quite felt right to be either, I think it is better to leave the characters single rather than suddenly rush a 'romantic' relationship in.

There was a crush on her side if I remember correctly... but nothing from Ichigo's side, though to be honest in late Bleach there wasn't much more than "I want to be strong" about him
But yeah, more needed to be done to justify any romance if anyone was meant to end up together, well, at least as far as I know, there was no massive pairing literally everyone up together and making them have some massive off-screen orgy so that they would all have kids the same age 'xD (why did both Bleach and Naruto had to end so badly?)

Ichigo and Rukia could have worked for me as they spend so much time together right from the start

If it doesn't, it should xD Though, I think there'd need to be a lot of romance written first for the orgy to make sense, or it could be just Naruto becomes hokage and orders everyone to make an orgy because... too many people died in a war or something xD
Yeah, I think out of all the characters he had the most going on with Rukia but no, she had to end up with Renji who was more like a brother to her... Seriously, how can you not understand your characters this badly and not see which have chemistry with each other?

I love bleach, its my favorite series of all time. I was really sad when the manga ended, first time I felt life slowdown after finishing a series, so I'm glad its anime got the green light. Only thing i didnt like is that they censored some parts of it that were fanservicy, not that it matters but I prefer they stay full faithful to the original work if its not something the author himself wants to change

Naruto seemed super awkward in his relationship with Hinata, so maybe he orders an orgy to learn a few things under the cover of needing to make a new generation of super babies!

What relationship? xD That's what so frustrating about Naruto and Sasuke's relationships with their final love interests as well, there was barely any interest in them from guys side. Didn't Naruto and Hinata need a whole movie added for their relationship to even get started? And with Sasuke and Sakura... there was either no interest or outright telling her to leave him alone, and even on Sakura's side, it was just a preschool crush based solely on Sasuke's looks that she should have grown out of so long ago... Romance in shonen... so frustrating... Please, authors, if you don't know how to write romance, have no interest in writing romance, don't try to force your characters into relationships...

I just mentally un-canon that whole thing, I wish it had ended with the fight as that made sense to the whole arc, or the old team all going out on a mission together, or just something that wasn't such a disappointment
