Colored bubbles are hard to read. White bubbles with black text or vice versa is a common thing for a reason. But, I'm no artist, so you can take that advice with a grain of salt

Have the letters in the colored bubbles be way more readable by having them be a different color.
The Sandshrew looks cute and the characters look like Pokemon characters so good job on that front.

You did tried to make a pokemon style art so you're getting close. But the font colors needs to be clear. If the bubble text is dark, you make the fonts bright color, if the text bubble is bright, then make the font dark.

The flat colored faux anime look isn't my thing, but your character drawings look cute and structured. I'd work on your backgrounds, thinking about the art design and detail you're going for with them. That undetailed couch on page 1, the rocks on page 2, they leave alot to be desired.
