What does tags do?

My... I'm here for a year now and only now I ask this xD
So... How tags are affecting our comics? Does it help when searching comics? Does it help to categorize them somehow?

To my knowledge it helps when people search for those keywords. So the more relevant key words you can think of to add the more likely you'll be found by someone searching for them. Like adding "martial arts" to my comic helps it be seen by people searching for martial arts because it'll pop up somewhere when they do.

If you mean the tags we add beyond the general genre definition, then I'm not sure they do anything much at the moment. Aside from the genre-tag, none of them seem to be clickable, which means they're not searchable - which means they aren't functional.

I've been told that the tagging system is still a work in progress, so it might be they're going to be useful in the future, but aren't right now.

I mostly use mine to crack really bad jokes. XD

Well they are fonctional in a way. You can type a word in the search bar and if a serie has it as a tag it will show. But you can't do multiple tags so it's not very useful imo...
