I had bought all the episodes from Fools, but it seems that the comic has simply disappeared. Does anyone know what happened? Or is it just a problem with my account?
That’s one thing that irritates me about a lot of comic sites. I’ve bought full series to have them disappear. It might be worth it to just go kindle or hard copy.
I expect that Tapas' license to distribute it ended since I'm pretty sure it's a foreign title. It's not uncommon for distribution licenses to expire.
If you look up Tapas Fools the twitter post with a working link should pop up. With that said if you haven't purchased anything you'll get an error but if you purchased it like me the link will work. The series won't let you purchase anything if you only had a few episodes purchased I think since its been de-listed. As far as why it was de-listed it seems the author and artist switched webcomic service at the same time the license tapas had was ending and they just didn't renew it. If you look up the author and artist Youngha and Bakdam you can find their handles online and find the original source manhua but its in Korean. As of writing they are working on a fullcolor remaster of Fools as well so hopefully the series gets licensed in English somewhere.
I saw the new version on lezhin. At least from the first episode, it looks like they completely redid the art instead of just coloring it, and some of the story too.
