What is 25 subscriber milestone?

I know you have to have 25 subscriber to reach that milestone. But do you have to get 25 readers subscribed to one of your stories or your profile? Because when I looked on my profile I have 30 subscribers and to one of my story I have 21 subscribers ( thank god). I'm just confused about this 25 subcribers milestone.
I'm new to this and just confused.

It should be 25 subs to one story... but in does nothing actually =) it doesn't open you any new features or anything, it's just "yay you have 25 subs, good job".

The milestone next is 100 subs, and that unlocks Ad-revenue on your series.

Yeah I actually just hit that milestone this morning like, "Oh cool, now I can get ads!" then clicked the button and the checklist was just replaced by a progress bar showing 25/100.

I guess it's just to give a sense of progress to newbies, since 100 seems like such a daunting amount. Personally I think a little badge or something or a little reward like a small amount of ink might have been nice.

I agree. There should be a little bit more of a reward than 'Woohoo! Go...you!" since they do push the 25 subs too.

I think the only milestone that counts in tapas is the one that unlocks ads for your comic lol All of them feel nice, though

One story, otherwise it's removing the glory of the comics that earned those subs.
