Yeeeaaahh xxxholic and other clamp work tend to be very stylized. I've found that this particular style works better in manga form than in animated form. To each his own.

Worst anime is Glitter Force. I couldn't get through 2 minutes of it in Japanese, changed it to English dubbed and couldn't get through 1 minute of it, changed it to French dubbed... watched about 10 minutes of it and then had to turn it off because I thought I was going to get really stupid by being exposed to it for too long.

xxxholic is one of those "bad animation, good plot and content" types of shows. Trust me, you'll forgive its crappy art for its story. Or you won't - depends.

That's XXXholic I loved the mangas from CLAMP :P. But never really watched the anime versions.
I found Smile Precure to be dumb no matter what dub it's in. You should check out the other precure spin-offs, though. I really enjoyed, Fresh, Heartcatch, and Go Princess and the newest one, Huggto is pretty interesting.

Diabolik Lovers is probably one of the worst things I have ever seen. I couldn't even bare to get past two episodes to see if it actually got better
Sword Art Online isn't awful but I never understood why it got as big as it did.
Not a fan, but my guess would be that it got big because the genre of MMO power fantasy was pretty new the time it came out. Also, the animation of the action scenes was glorious.
There were definitely good things about it, but overall I'm just like "It's just ok, calm down"
SAO would've been great as a game. Like, if they tweaked it a bit, stopped adding more and more girls to Kirito...that'd be great.
