Anyone in here familiar with what this outfit is called? I'm not too good with searching for fashion, traditional outfits cause they all blend for someone like me who is fashion blind.

I'm specifically asking for the top and pants.

Thank you so much!

edit: also asking for what the coat is called, I thought it was the Chinese 'version' of a Haori which is called a Dachang (大氅) based on what this blog5 wrote. but the two buttons makes me think it might be something else now.

Unless it still can be considered one, but I know fashion can be quite complicated and I'd rather have the proper name to be safe.

Sorry. I have no idea. Just bumping tonlet someone else know

Idk chinese clothing well either but it looks like a crop-topped/stylized version of a changpao?

Someone pls correct me if I'm super wrong :cry_02:

I think I actually read this in a book (it's about Chinese manhwa for ancient settings ( most likely for wuxia, xianxia and xianhuan setting)) and it features different traditional clothes in different timelines...
If I recall it correctly, the inner part of the I think it's more likely a modified version of a 'Tangzhuan' or a 'Tang suit'? -- though I might be wrong because Tangzhuan usually refers only to the upper garment (Yi) rather than a set and the fitting of the fabric is usually loose rather than fitted.
as far as I know, the traditional Chinese clothing where the fitting of the fabric is usually fitted is more likely a Cheongsam( / Changshan/ 'qipao' --- but they both tend to be long pieces of clothing
But yeah, if someone knows better about the specific terminology please do correct me and don't be shy to share what you know~

Like @Eiranyx mentioned, I also think the top looks like a modern/fantasy version of the Tangzhuang, but it does resemble the female Cheongsam top more. The pants look like regular pants. The overcoat seems to be loosely based on the Hanfu overcoat (or Dachang like you mentioned). I'm also not too knowledgeable with the specific terminology, but the outfit is just a modernised/fantasy version of traditional Chinese clothing, mixed-matched from different styles/dynasties. With fantasy clothing there are no strict rules and you can mix and match different styles of clothing (unless you're specifically basing it on certain dynasties/time periods).

So, both the top and the coat already has mixed styles (modern & ancient) in them. The top has the token hanging off the left side which (I assume) comes from ancient Chinese clothing, and the coat has buttons normally seen in more modern Chinese clothing. At best you can only guess what they're based on and go from there.
