My choice is between The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel Series and Yakuza Series. What About you guys?
Persona 4 and 5, definitely.
It's technically a social rpg/mmo but Unison League has been my personal favorite for a long while
Golden sun was the only one I've played as a kid
and I'm willing to play it again since it was my favorite

Tales of Symphonia was what got me into the genre. These days I play a lot of Etrian Odyssey and Fire Emblem (shh it's a tactical JRPG).
Also love Yakuza but I've only watched LPs of it.
Final fantasy 3 for me, very fun and a big step up from 2 and most final fantasies at the time, played it when 12 was out =/
looks at library So many...I still love Rogue Galaxy. Story is not great, but it was so much fun. Although, Persona 5. That’s it.
Tales of the Abyss for sure.

I played and like all the games you guys mentioned other then Etrian Odyssey and Ni no Kuni. Though i heard Etrian odyssey was good so might try it out someday and maybe Ni no Kuni too
I thought Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness was a good game. It starts out feeling somewhat medieval then during the second half all sci-fi like. Completely added flavor to the game for me.

Ps3 and Ps4, it was an exclusive. Only on Ps4 in Eu and Na though.
Good thing I have a ps3. Focusing on getting bayonetta 1 & 2 for my switch atm though.
Yeah like I said unless you can understand Japanese, that's the only way you can play it. I don't doubt that there is other star ocean games on ps3 though. Let me tell you from what I hear apparently Integrity and Faithlessness is considered one of the worst games in the franchise. I had an amazing time playing it.
Coincidentally I'm at an intermediate level in japanese xDIt'll be good practice. :>
The only thing i enjoyed about Integrity and faithlessness was the characters. I liked Till the end of time and the last hope a lot better. I felt like the story and fighting style was a lot better in Till The End Of Time and Last Hope.
Haha, that's why I said it was considered the worst in the franchise. If anything Integrity and Faithlessness is more an introduction for casual players to the world. At least that's what I think.
Also did you play it to the end? The second half is so much better imo compared to the first half.
