Mine is probably sketching lol. And doing the original thumbnail/planning and sketching out my comic panels.

My LEAST favorite part of the process is cleaning up the line art. I do like adding shadows to my art too, though i'm not good at it yet.

Least favorite: thinking how the panels will look like and sketching. Uses too much brains I Don't have too much of...

Most favorite: coloring, shading. That's the brainless part.

Most favorite: I like lineart! Though if it's a panel or scene I like, ahaha! I also like doing final touches like giving color to the lineart and effects!:yellow_heart:

Least favorite: I hate doing base color! :cry_02: I dreaded doing it and hoped I would have an assistant whenever it was time to do them...

I hate lineart with a passion. Line weight is my enemy. Clean lines, also my enemy.

Favorites, rendering (and effects)-- aka the final step before completing it is the most satisfying so I like it a lot too. I love watching the base colours become to full of life, and how crazy light and shadows can change the mood and what not.

Everything other than coloring I like. I hate coloring.

I don’t like coloring either but I won’t say I hate it
Technically I am not good at it I prefer shading

Least favorite: Sketching, thumbnails, etc. the planning stage is hands down the worst. Sometimes lineart can fall into this category depending on how messy the sketch was. TLDR: I hate making decisions.
Favorite: Coloring, shading, and when applicable, hatching. Filling is the lines is just really soothing and easy, especially when using a very limited color scheme.

Fav is definitely sketching. I love sketching and sketchy art styles. The simplicity and expressive sorta messiness is nice.

Least fav is rendering. I've gotten a little better with practice and I do well enough with palettes. The issue is I always hit a point where things look terrible and I wanna toss the whole thing out. I'm not a "trust the process" kinda person.

Most favorite- the inking/line art; this the stage where I put my definitive touches on how I want the finished line work to look...it is really therapeutic to me.

Least favorite- used to be coloring, but now I feel like initially drawing is sometimes a pain...it also depends on what mood I'm in with drawing.

@XiuLyn_12 I felt the same way about coloring, but I'm starting to settle in to liking it...

Fav - Drawing action scenes, fighting scenes, Lyza, herself, creating badass scenes, detailing backgrounds, architecture.

Least - Drawing hands and still-life: Plants, flowers, trees and most of plantation.

In traditional:
Favorite: probably sketching, but I like line art too… and coloring… almost everything really.
Least favorite: figuring out the panel layout. Ugh.

In digital:
Favorite: Rendering probably, also coloring when I’m doing digital paintings.
Least favorite: literally everything else. I hate sketching digitally. I hate doing line art digitally. I hate base color when it’s not allowed to be super messy. Heck, I even hate clean shading sometimes.

Clearly I prefer drawing traditionally to digitally lol. But traditional takes too much time so here I am, hating the process half the time.

For me, coloring/shading is okay! (and depends on my mood too) :eyes::sweat_drops:
But base color is always so- :triumph:
We have very similar likes and dislikes!

Favorite: The thumbnailing stages with papers & pencil, because panelings are always engaging for me to make.

Least favorite: Coloring/Flatting :unamused:

My favourite part would be thinking up story ideas, and also seeing the reactions to the episodes! Especially if a joke or a scene lands well

My least favourite is actual drawing hahaha :see_no_evil:Probably doing the lineart? Though it depends, sometimes doing the lineart is the only creative activity that I can manage to do and is very relaxing to me.

My least favourite is editing my comics. (Like edit the text in, put them in frames, etc). Its tedious and has little to do with the actual art. Same for editting my writing.

It's necessary for readability but damn its boring.

My favourites are definitely lineart and colouring. Took me a long time to perfect both! And with traditional art it's very important to not make mistakes. Thumbnailing is also fun mostly because my ideas look very wonky before I get to the sketching stage haha.

I love drawing plants and flowers lol. if only my whole comic revolved around plants I'd actually be good at illustrating it

My favorite has always been the drawings characters, battle scene, coloring, and other effects.

My least favorite however but it had to be done, background cities, and hands.
