What is your favourite genre and why?

Action is all our comics is about. Any type of action via good vs evil, or just a good round of cartoon violence across the board is what we do best at Amazement Comics. It even says in our profile summary, we're so full of entertainment so action packed, it's going to leave a mark. Also, our world of action/adventure stories is massive, meaning lots of characters telling lots of different stories all in an effort not to bore our audience.

The reason is simple, fighting is one of the most primal things human beings do and everyone gravitates to it because its instinctual, we all fight something at the end of the day.

Unfortunately I am allergic to theramin so I broke out in a huge rash and had respiratory issues at a double billing of Mu Tau Pancakes and Anteojo the Chupacabra Slayer. I was injected a dozen times backstage before someone finally used an EpiPen.

As a reader I like thriller the most. A good one gets me hooked to the story.
As a writer it's fantasy because it you can do whatever you like in worldbuilding.

Hi. I prefer sci/fi and fantasy. Reality can get really boring sometimes. In this genre of movies, I gravitate toward good CG. In fact, I could get by on just the special effects. However, some stories, like Slaughterhouse Five, are both eye-opening and thought-provoking.

Fantasy, especially the one taking place in modern world. From w reader's point of view I just think it's neat. From author's point of view you can take some artistic liberties and explain them with magic. xD

I tend to prefer stories that don't fit easily in a genre. I dislike a huge proportion of genre-specific tropes, and stories that don't fit into genre, by default, are less prone to these. Or if they use them, it may be in a context different enough to make them interesting again.
Plus, I simply like not knowing what I'm going into.
Writing that is appealing (and art in case there is any) is what make makes me read a story; I'm ready for anything genre wise.

Sci-fi and fantasy because they can contain all other genres and themes.

I love a broad range of genres and it depends a bit on the medium. I think fantasy is probably my favorite for comics though it's a tough call between that, drama and romance. I also really like sci-fi, action, adventure, even sports (which I have zero interest in watching real life). Slice of life, horror and superhero comics tend to be less interesting to me but I'll read those too if they hit the right notes...

I'd say fantasy/sci-fi, horror, and romance for different reasons.

I usually say Harry Potter was the start of my love for fantasy, but I think I had an interest in it before that and the series just ascertained it. I find the ability to create and experience entire worlds that abandon everything you know is fascinating. Also, power/magic systems. Love them.

Horror is something I definitely grew into. I was the one who would always hide beneath a blanket while watching a horror movie and one time I even spent the duration of a scene inside a bathroom because I refused to be in the same room as that screen. Now, I think I've developed an odd dark fascination, even though I still get afraid and paranoid rather easily. I've also learned to appreciate how good horror can make you deeply unsettled from a storyteller/creator's perspective.

Romance is the least "oh my gosh I love art and stories I adore you yaya" of the three. I just like gushing over wholesome moments.
