What job do you work at other than create comics?

I work as a sales associate for a Hallmark store. It's pretty crazy this time of year!

I'm a sales associate in a Bass store and I do my art at night. My bosses and co-workers are pretty cool though.

I'm a first year Zoology student at university. You'll see a bit of genetics crop up in my comic in chapter 2.

Unemployed at the moment, sadly. For my last job I did content addition and scripting for a video game though, so hopefully I'll be able to find more work in that area.

With the internet nowadays, it's so easy to "level up" in almost anything! I have a lot of students that learn art techniques through YouTube; things I didn't learn until college!

Yeah -- since I'm unable to graduate highschool or get into college (long story - no it's not due to lack of intelligence), the age of wide-spread internet information & tutorials has been my best friend. I don't know where I'd be without it!

I work currently as a front-end UI artist for a casino gaming company here. I do a lot of the animations, graphic design, and illustration. I'm kind of a jack of all trades almost at my workplace, so I can't complain too much. Otherwise, I've done some package design stuff and some of the things I've done are character designs on a US candy company's easter campaign, and was on an art team for a small studio~~

Hahaha, it's fun to see these answers and notice that everyone has something related to art. Well mine will be different!

I work on Beautiful Lies as a hobby, side thing. I hope to do more with it. I am currently in college, working for a Mathematics degree in order to become an actuary, which most people have no idea what that is...(hence the link). For a job at the moment, I am doing math tutoring. Eventually, I hope to get a different part-time but we'll have to see.

Currently I'm building up a portfolio so I can eventually become an illustrator for middle grade novels. I'm also putting in a couple stories so show the person how I think in story as well. Hopefully eventually I can also be paired up with an illustrator, and he/she can illustrate my novels as well.

I'm also considering a freelance job in independent journalism as well.

I personally work at a convenience store, do freelance illustration work for visual novels, Draw book covers and illustrations for an indie publishing company, and do about 2 conventions a month.
so...mostly art related luckily :,D

So you might have seen from this topic that I work in marketing automation. It sounds really technical, but it basically means talking to clients, translating their needs, and figuring out how to set up their particular platform to accommodate. Sometimes this is setting up forms for their website, other times it's configuring an integration with their customer relationship management database. Other times, creating multi-touch email campaigns

I'm studying to be an architect. You may notice there are a lot of architects (students and professionals) who are into making comics too. Maybe the love for comics and architecture has a correlation? idk.

Other than that and helping out in my parent's small grocery, I don't have a job. With all the the time constraints of being a student, I don't have enough time and energy to spend on a job. My paycheck will have to wait until I graduate. D;

Burger King wouldn't hire me so I'm a freelance artist. ...
Witch is the nicest title I can give my self being all I do is take $17 to about $40 online art commissions daily.

But I am being paid to draw art for a comic. I'm slowly trying to make comics full time. I just love making comics and reading them an everything. My own comics or working with a writer. I love it.

I am really great full that I can do all this work. With out it I would be SOL.

I'm studying a degree in Medicine. Am I the only one who doesn't do anything remotely connected to comics outside of webcomic stuff?
