Most of my inspirations are anime, manga and webtoons. I'm not an avid reader
I hated reading cuz of how I viewed books. I started reading recently because I loved reading Paulo Coelho's stuff. I love the way he narrates it.
My first huge inspiration would have to be two of my favorite anime: Oregairu and the Monogatari Series. I still don't know how to describe it, but they are somehow so powerful in terms of getting the point across.
Then, it would have to be the manga-s Horimiya and Karekano and the webtoon The Stories of Those around Me with how they handle the relationships between characters.
In terms of written works, I'd have to name all of Paulo Coelho's books I've read so far, especially, The Alchemist, Brida, The Winner Stands Alone. And a novella or LN of sorts on wattpad which is still the only one I've finished on the site- Brooding Guy, Quiet Girl. Though it's not my favorite of any sort, it made me feel like it was actually possible to write these stories on the sites.
Not to mention, the stuff I read for school but were genuinely good pieces of literature.
And the biggest influence, I guess, would be stuff that's happened throughout my life and a certain song by 'Arrow to Athens' called "City of Angels".
I see that there are more influences that come my way the more I go through life and the more stories I experience and the list would go on and on lol.
Anyway, if you've come this far, thanks for reading my rambles lol.
Here's my work- it's slowly become a way for me to make peace with the different sides of myself.
