YES, @agentfink! I've had so many other smaller projects I tried to approach academically or from a quick little "oo, this could be interesting" that just... went into nothingness because there was no longterm drive to continue. It really is a labour of love.
My comics both revolve around psychological factors, particularly impressions on reality and how humans control what happens based on their own perceptions/actions. But... I think something I've always been fascinated with would be character dynamics. Apathetic "cool" dude in juxtaposition with heated, mad id. I just love that conflict! Not necessarily drama conflict but the two very contrasting personalities draw me in every time. Identity is fun and endlessly fascinating.
Now, speaking of like... things that I'm obsessed with? Computers, video games, birds, the colour black, haha^^ Yes, those all figure into my comics. Not necessarily because I like them but more because I like analysing them. WHY are they so intriguing to me? What does it say of my identity to place an emphasis on portraying them in terms I understand? I just love dissecting things.
