What other apps do you use on your iPad for your comic?

So I draw basically everything in Procreate. I use Magicposer and sometimes Sketchfab for poses or backgrounds.

Are there any other iPad Apps you'd recommend for making comics? And I don't mean drawing apps, as I'm happy with Procreate, but for like other stuff, backgrounds, text, poses, or whatever you have in mind.

Yes that's right. And Keynote is also a great layout App on the fly.

Clip Studio. THE best program to make comics in, in my opinion.

I only use Procreate on my IPad. On my PC I'll use some Clip Studio Paint as well

I find Clip Studio lags at high resolutions with textured brushes, which is kinda a must for me, so while I know it's what I should be using long-term, I'm sticking with Procreate for now. At least until I decide to spring for a new desktop setup. Fingers crossed for more layers and comic-friendly features in future Procreate updates!

As for adjacent apps, I'm a huge fan of Artpose Pro. I really like the realistic anatomy it has, as it gives me a solid foundation to stylise as I wish, rather than giving me a pre-cartoonised figure. I've been in quite the art block these last two weeks, and having a good posing app to use as a crutch has been am absolute lifesaver.

That's about it for comic creation. Just those two.

Do I see it correctly that I have to buy 2 or even 3 different apps to be able to use anatomy models of male and female characters in artpose? Also: Can you put several characters and objects in one scene?

And yeah I don't want Clip studio cause it has a monthly fee. If it would be a one time purchase I would surely get it.

I don't think so... I've had ArtPose Pro for so long that I've forgotten what was free and what was purchased. I do recall unlocking everything in the app was a one-time purchase, though. It wasn't very expensive. And it's all in one app, not multiple.

It's much more bare-bones than other posing apps regarding multiple characters, (you can only have two) and scenery/objects. (There are a couple of basic things, but not much.) I never use the scenery/objects, so it doesn't much bother me.

Right now I dont use any of my art apps towards my comic...maybe down the road when I get used to working on my iPad- for right now I just doodle pics here & there, trying to work better with the tablet.

I have Procreate AND Clip Studio- but I mostly use CSP. I dont like how Procreate works...maybe once I get used to working on my iPad, I'll try to create some pages there- and I'll use the iPad version of Affinity Designer to do my lettering(if I want to do lettering on my tablet instead of on my laptop).
