What Social Networks do you use?

Hey guys. As I try to get my comic out there, I am just curious as to what social networks most of the people in the web comic community use. I personally use facebook and instagram... ALOT.
What do you use?

I'm not really a social type, so I sometimes use instagram and Deviantart to post my drawings and stuff. I don't use Twitter or Facebook, but many creators updating their activities here too, I guess?. Other than that I have Ko-Fi, but I rarely posted anything here, and I do have WordPress but it could be called useless.

Instagram seems to be a good option for building a community around your art! I see a lot of talented artists on there and there's a lot of features that encourage interacting with people...Slideshow posts, stories, polls, etc.

One thing I would suggest is don't spread yourself too thin when it comes to social media, or it'll be hard to keep up and you'll burn out...Focus on 1-2 platforms and produce quality stuff on those platforms. And post regularly/consistently. Your audience will find you! Also, I've heard good things about Twitter when it comes to engaging more with other creators, artists, etc. Lots of dialogue opportunities there.

I like using Instagram. There's a big community w super talented ppl there. I heard Facebook is good too but I was never good at using it.......

Instagram is my primary. Someone told me that it was great for artists so that's where I chose to go to. I never really talk to anyone on there but It worked out really well for me to share my drawings.

I had a question and this topic is probably ok for it (if not, sorry then). Where I can create a blog with mostly text content? I checked Tumblr, but it IMHO more suitable for pictures than texts, especially long ones.

Twitter is my main go-to. You follow likeminded people and get to engage and see what they’re up to. There’s opportunities for conversations, and sharing things that interest you. I also have Instagram where I just put up work and leave lol. I don’t go to Facebook but it’s connected to my Instagram so anything I upload automatically gets posted to FB. And then there’s Tumblr. I only post there because I already have an account & some sort of following, so that’s where I get the bulk of my commission gigs.

i use tumblr for fun but not for promotion. its really the only social media i have much interest in using bc i like the reblog mechanism and its where my friends are. for comics it can be helpful, but the tag system on tumblr makes it really difficult for new things to get seen. and its like, a bad site. from community to coding.

instagram is the main place i do comics promo, twitter is more for other work promo for me, although its a great place to talk and promote comics as well. i have automation apps for both to help me keep up with them - otherwise id never post.

My suggestion is to use them all. I have Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram. The very best ones though are Instagram and Twitter though.

I use Twitter, Facebook, & Instagram. I snagged Discord, but have yet to get on anyone's server, and I'm not an "art streaming" person. I also have Google+ and Tumblr, but both of those are ghost towns most of the time.

I've got Facebook, DeviantArt, and Tumblr as my main ones. I also recently got Instagram and I have Paigeeworld but those aren't my priorities tbh.

Oh and I've got Patreon and Ko-Fi.

I dunno I'm kind of everywhere except twitter for some reason.

I mainly post my comic wips on Instagram because with the right hashtags you can get the right audience pretty easily, but be carefull with the algorithm...i heard bad things about it and stuff like shadowban lingers a lot in there, still my #1 social for art
I heard good things about Twitter, there are some pages focused on webcomics who always look for someone to promote ^^
I can't advice Tumblr anymore because that social is useful only if you already have a fanbase.
Never used reddit before or Pinterest.
Recently i tried with Facebook to catch some of my countrymen but it feels rather uncomfortable to be honest haha

The Bookface is my creator hub. Basically everything from all my outlets end up there. I may start making posting curated lists of my favorite comics and creators on there soon.

The Gram is my artsy platform. I'll post quotes over my photography, commissioned art pieces, and small snippets of my life that I feel should be shared with people.

Twitter is where I dump the random thoughts and ideas that plague my mind throughout the day. It's the platform that I interact with people the most. If you want to learn more who or have a conversation, follow me here.

Tumblr is the second home to my ongoing series and where I go to look for other artists. It's kind of like the Bookface, but targeted for a different audience.
