I like this question a lot, especially since my chapters all have songs tied to them. I think the one that best fits my main novel is “Centuries” by Fall Out Boy because it relates to the events of the story boiling down to one colossal, life-changing mistake at the end. It also makes me think of the other characters involved with the lyrics “We are the poisoned youth.”

Like this question a lot, but if I had to choose right now it would have to be Rock n Roll, Morning Light Falls on You by Asian Kung Fun Generation.

It has this calming, resolution feel to it without being too, I don’t know, upbeat? It has a melancholy sound that matches the ending I have in mind. All in all, just a great Underrated song from an amazing band.

Ending song... that's quite difficult. I don't know precisely, but I did listen to this song on repeat as I was finishing the book, so this is probably always going to be the "ending song" as far as my brain is concerned.

Bringing this thread back from the dead (hope that's okay) because I found another awesome song that would fit for the end credits of Vehementia - The Series. It's called Shine and it's by an aussie singer called Vanessa Amorosi.

Fun fact, for the lyric - "Look around you, everyone you see, everyone you know is going to shine." The final word was supposed to be 'die' and not 'shine' but her producer decided that was too dark. Just thought that was quite interesting.

I hope the video pops up. At first listen it seems like the song is about external kingdoms and conquest But it is about the bright light within.. Self-realization. The kingdom inside, your own goals and dreams.

A true metalhead could tell me I'm way off base, but I get that vibe from it. Also its just a great song.

The lines about "Be your own disciple" and "Words of power" do make me think of my series.
