What time period (s) do you enjoy dressing your characters up for?

Any time we draw, we're hopefully improving bit by bit! Japanese attire is beautiful and I think more creators should send their OCs on vacation to Japan!

I personally plan to explore 1960s / 1970s spy fashion, mad max desert punk, and beach day outfits (among others) throughout the duration of my series. Gotta keep things fresh!

Oh yes, these all are great! I especially love desert punk, while it's not something I ever think to draw , the whole idea (and Mad Max!) is just amazing.

Yep theyre fun periods indeed, have another project inspired by the Ancient Indian stuff.
Was a sketch from years back, instead of blood, flowers sprout from enemies
Focusing on Sick Boy at the moment but would love to make this a comic at some point.

As you said Cowboys too, yep they r awesome also, got a rough idea for a character in a future season to be a cowboy.

I'm a huge sucker for folds and details on clothing Ornaments and such are quite my element. I cannot really apply that passion of mine into the comic I do right now as it's set in modern time but I enjoy eastern clothing a lot, vibrant with much detail. I always liked the the insane detail on the armor of the samurais and stuff like that. If applied to a comic though that'd be a nightmare to reproduce with all the details I'd like to draw Fits so much more in single illustrations I do enjoy drawing so much.

Absolutely agree! Detail and texture are so fun to explore. But doing that repeatedly while hitting deadlines is a tall order.

My comic is medieval(ish) fantasy, so sometimes I like to go the other way and doodle them in modern clothes! This was from 2014 so they look a little dated, and my art style has shifted as well. I've drawn them more recently, but this one was already online and easy to find.
