What to do with next season?

Hey everyone,
This weekend I am going to publish last or may be second last episode of first season of my novel, Elyndor: eyes of the unseen. So my question is that should I release season 2 as a different series or continue season 2 with same series??

Don't make another series unless you want to lose most if not all of your followers - it's that simple.
Go for a whole new series only if it's an actually different story.

Well I´m facing the same problem actually. In my case the sequel takes place 2 years after the end of the 1st story. Same characters, new storyline, new stakes, new approach. So I´ve decided to do it as a separate novel

Do you want to play with a character you've already leveled up and grinded on, or do you want to start over from level 0?

Season 2 or 5 or 10, it should all be together so your readers can find it. Save doing a new series for when you're doing completely new characters, a radically different genre, a spinoff centered around one of the minor characters, or other such things.

I agree, it's like trying to sell Naruto under a different name after they passed the chūnin exams. Even big Webtoons titles don't split comics by seasons. Considering most people asking the question have under 100 subs, it's very brave of them to try this approach.

I can understand the reasoning here, Tapas' (and Webtoons) archive system is just one long list and doesn't really allow you to neatly categorize the chapters. So the best you can do is label the episodes in a specific way that might not be very nice to look at. Separating chapters in its own series is a nice idea in theory but terrible for navigation and the algorithm.
