What to draw with?

hiya. i'm just starting out on tapastic and was wondering what you all find best to draw with.
Do you draw on paper and then scan it in?
Do you draw digitally?
If so what programs do you use?

I do everything digitally on a tablet. I use Paint Tool Sai for everything except panels, which I use Clip Studio for. If you plan to go print eventually though, I hear Clip Studio is better than Sai because it has CYMK color mode.

I draw with the blood of my enemies.
But I primarily use Photoshop with a clunky tablet. I've heard that SAI is more suited for hardcore drawing, but with Photoshop, ooo look these pretty effects and filters. I've tried doing paperwork first before coloring digitally, but pencils don't really suit me all too well, so I prefer sketching on the computer.

I do everything digitally. I like using clip studio paint since it has a lot of built in comic tools (speech bubbles, perspective rulers, special effects, etc.)

I draw/ink my work digitally and then color on the computer!

Since I've never had a mouse or printer, I've always done everything digitally or otherwise I wouldn't have been able to use my drawings online... It was all because I wanted to decorate my neopets' profiles with drawings :')
With advancements in technology though, I can now use traditional sketches for drawings if I want cuz phone cameras are pretty good and cloud-storing services make uploading the pics a breeze.

I used Photoshop CS2 for a long time but I've moved to using Medibang Paint Pro. I might buy Clip Studio Paint eventually since it's gotten a lot of praise.

I draw both traditional & digital. Right now I probably draw better traditionally, but for the past year I've been pushing myself to become better at rendering digitally.

I draw on DELETER B4 manuscript, then use the G-pen and India ink for the line work.
After that, I scan my work at 600dpi and do the rest in Clip Studio Paint Pro including the sound effects.

I'm all digital! Sometimes I do tiny thumbnails on paper first but otherwise I sketch, ink, and color all in Photoshop with my trusty Intuos 4.

i went from drawing all manually in B&W
Then manual pencil and inking, but digital coloring
Now i do everything digitally, i use software: Manga Studio 5 and tablet: Wacom Intuos 4 on my laptop, digital art saves sooo much time and effort that can be invested in other important stuff

@eslameldeeb I wouldnt exactly say it "saves time & effort" for me, but aesthetically, the digital ink finish wows my eye, and i feel it meshes with the coloring & lettering better.

Pros:
Reasonable price, costs only $50 dollars
Very easy on your computer, Sai has never crashed on my computers even with a ton of other applications running in the background
Great for lineart. The Pencil and maker tools can be easily modified to make super-clean lineart brushes, and the lineart layer tools can be used to make easy vector lineart.
Very simple to learn, it took me just a few days to get a good handle on the program

Cons:
Limited in function. Sai lacks text, word bubble, and paneling tools. Can't do fancy brushes like Photoshop, and doesn't have many layer modes.
Can only work in RGB, which basically means your colors will look different if you try to print them.

Ironically, I went from digital back to traditional for the current comic I'm working on X'D
The aesthetic worked far better than any other attempt I tried otherwise digitally, and I can actually motivate myself to complete a page in one sitting. Plus, my partner was colouring it to look like watercolour, so it matched our styles better for the sake of the look we wanted the story to have. Also ironically, I only started using my traditional inking style one week ago so I'm gonna just hope it all doesn't go wrong XD
There's some sense of finality compared to digital inking because there's no going back once you put the mark to paper. Least, that's how it feels to me. My inking speed improved too, using far less time traditionally than digitally where I'd spam Ctrl Z like a neat freak. The only thing I miss is the ability to select, move, and resize my art ;w;
But yeah, just work with what feels comfortable for you~
