I once had a Hawaiian Pizza French Bread when I vacationed in Canada one time as a kid. I liked it.

This might sound weird but I think of tomatoes, avocados, potatoes etc. as fruit or vegetable depending on how I use it. I'm pretty sure tomatoes are fruits but I use them more like a vegetable so I just think of them as vegetable.

Pineapple is only acceptable on pizza.

I am a big fan of ham and pineapple pizza. To me, it's a totally legit pizza topping and will never be as sacrilegious as something I regularly witnessed in Japan: Mayonnaise on Pizza.

I didn't see the original polls, but if the mod who deleted it felt uncomfortable with the topics or the way you worded the poll question, then other users could have as well. I'm sure it was just a preventative measure to avoid anything heated blowing up. Sometimes people will dogpile onto some posters too, so maybe you dodged a bullet.

I don't know. I didn't see the original poll. People have different barometers when it comes to determining what's on the line between what's acceptable to talk with others about or not. So like your poll, any and all of those topics could be controversial or not at all depending on the person you ask.
