I've always been influenced by 90s and 2000 anime. So my drawings heavily leans on the anime style but at the same time I took out the elements that I don't like in the anime (insanely big eyes, simple line noses) but at the same time I don't want it to be realistic.
People (especially western-style artist) says my style is too "anime" and "generic" I don't really know but I really love my style because I can justify the scenes I really want. LOL.
But I just call it the Mharz style in different tiers (though it's actually just variations of rendering.)
Tier 1 - flat tones.
Tier 2 - black and white inks with bizarre hatching tricks
Tier 3 - cel shaded the most anime-looking of them all
Tier 4 - absolute digital painting, lineless
