What would your character do? [Haunted House Edition]

I see, well I suppose if it works, right? Nothing better than the direct method. There's so many characters here that seem to be going in that direction. Though I have to admit, I do like the Saturday morning cartoon feel your comic gives me, really cool .

Oh, nice. Well I guess there's not really much ghosts can do to spirits is there? Except perhaps maybe just chill and hang out. Maybe your characters will make some new friends?

HAHA! I love that meme! It's funny you posted this because in October, I'll be publishing my online journal I kept while living in a haunted house for a year. Link is on my main profile page.

For this post, I'm using the characters from "The Tale of The Butterfly and The Crane":

Mîn Jíng: sits and meditates to communicate with the spirits "Tell me how I can help you."

Jié Qiáng: watches over his wife while thinking she's insane and notices a spirit getting too close "Did you just touch her?!" proceeds to smack the ghost around

Yǒng Wěi: places a bowl of loquats and slowly backs away

Yáng Ning: places a bowl of loquats and slowly backs away, then looks at Yǒng Wěi "Why do yours look better?"

Yǒng Wěi: "I stole them from Mîn Jíng."

Xiù Xiù: hops to the funeral offerings "I came for yangmei berries and biting my enemies. I see no yangmei berries." proceeds to eat a butterfly then looks around the room

Everyone runs out, including the ghosts

Elliott would probably panic and/or try to hide somewhere safe.

Puck is the primordial god of chaos and the longer he was stuck inside, the worse it would be for the haunted house.

My main character, Blasphemel, is an easily scared vampire. At first he would be terrified of the ghosts, and then he would become interested in the stories that these spirits have to tell of their past life and would probably decide not to leave as long as he can remain within the shadows of this ever so haunted house.

Worse - they're scared of a rabbit. Thanks! It's similar to wuxia. It's romance but it's built on intrigue and some darkness. The first 19 chapters is building up the characters and the situation of the kingdoms. Once the setting changes, the action and mystery gets going. I'm working on another that's a lot more action and crime but same time period.
