I found this an interesting topic to think about at the beginning of 2026. I like to have many writing projects that I switch between depending on my mood for writing at the time. I have, technically, three pen names. So, that helps too.
Sometimes, I'm working on children's books. Sometimes, I'm working on paranormal romances or the Kpop romance I have here on Tapas. Then, I've got some real spicy shorts I work on that I self-publish. Switching between them all helps keep things fresh. For the start of the year, I'm going to finish my Kpop romance here on Tapas. It's great to finally get this done.
I've finished also another serial novel. I'm debating whether to put it on here as well. Not sure yet.
It does have some mature scenes, and I'd like to keep those in. It looks like other people are marking those particular episodes with a mature label, which might make it easier, because there are only certain mature episodes. But we'll see. I am enjoying the fact that publishing serial novels on multiple serial platforms can be exciting and interesting. Like not having your eggs in one basket. I have a lot of my ebooks wide now. So, I guess, it follows the same pattern.
But it's nice to reflect on all this at the beginning of 2026. I'm happy to see Tapas in the plans now, especially since Radish Fiction is closed. I did like writing on that app. Sad to see it go.
