What's InkGiving?

Hey everyone!
So I'm relatively new to Tapas, and this is the first time I heard about the "ink giving" event.
Will I (as a webcomic artist who has less than 100 subs) be able to join?
Or do I need at least 250 subs to unlock the support button first?

Well yeah, you just have to hop into the discord and post your profile link in the #inkgiving2022-support-unlock channel. and you'll be able to receive ink regardless of sub count.

Its normally a set date between 21st -23rd where readers and creators donate ink to each other. Normally creators have like ink goals like "I get 10k ink and will draw an au, 20k ink character profiles, ect"

Its mostly a community based event of support

well the ink unlock oppertunity closes I think on 11th of november so much eailer. I feel the large amount of time is just allow us to prepare our promos and rewards by then.

it honestly depends on the person, some people need alot of prep time, others need very little depends on how much effort you want to put in to your inks giving promotion

To add some extra detail: When you donate ink during Inksgiving, Tapas will return 20% of the ink to you afterwards, so if you donate $10 of ink to people, you'll get $2 worth of ink back in your account after the event.

Honestly I always do absolutely nothing for Inksgiving because it falls right between my favourite big comics event of the year, me and my partner's anniversary and my Birthday, so I instead just donate to people and donate back to creators who donate and I've still generally got a nice chunk of money from it, so my advice from experience is just be a visible and productive person in the community (which you are!).
