What's the use of a Series Banner?

As I was editing the details section of my comics, I noticed something, there are Series Banner optional pics and Series Banner optional link, custom ad banner, custom ad banner link... What are these and what can I do with them? Some examples would be very appreciated.

You can use the ad banner link to send a link to your website if you have one or to a store with your merch if you have. I don`t have a website yet and i still dont have merchandise, so i dont use it.

The other one is for your comic to look better, is more a presentation thing.

As far as I know, they're for fun and/or advertisement.

They can serve as some cool touch-ups for readers on their PC.
Ex. Roadworks and TNSTAJ have cool banners:

Some people like to use banners for advertisement, too.
Ex. Silent Horror has a banner that advertises the artist's Patreon:

Custon ads appear at the bottom of the page on PC. They can be used to advertise pretty much anything you want:
-the comic's main site if you have one
-tipping
-Patreon

Keep in mind only desktop users will see your Series Banner and Ad Banner!

I like to use my ad banner to share Creator Recommendations (I've done a couple) but personally I do not use a series banner, I don't like how it looks.

I think it's mostly about having a nice presentation for your comic. That's why I added one. I also made a series ad just to throw in a little "thanks for reading" picture at the bottom.

Yes, the Banner gives a nice presentation and there's a custom link so if you click on it, it'll take you to whatever website you want. For me, it's my Patreon website.

Also the ad allows you to inform readers when you post and allows you to custom link to the website of your choice...again, for me, it's Patreon:

Bottom line, it's for fun, info, and advertising!
