Thank you so much! I was experimenting this style of shading (i started doing it like this just some weeks ago xD)
I always try to be kinda paintery but all that people notice is that it's very 'cutesy and colorful' possibly round and even childish :/I kinda go with it
People always say that I draw manga.. But no... The only similarity I see is taht it is black and white and simple I think about my style as some web-comic mainstream.
Depends on how realistic I want it to look. It goes from this...
To this...
However, my actual style is this one here!
Terrible.
Thank god i have artists to partner with haha
I'd describe my art as japanese inspired. But I have no idea what to call it actually...
In my paintings I love realistic shading, experimenting with materials and lighting. But my comic TOAS is totally something else, it's all flat and fresh with fat smooth lines.
Something about the first picture is very charming.
My style doesn't really fall in to the manga or realistic category. I do feel it's cartoony looking but with some realistic qualities. But then again, my style jumps around a bit from time to time. xD
Managa type my one
I liked to copy a lot of people way back when, but I've been leaning towards a more cartoon-ish style lately for the latest webcomic I started.
But here's an example! ^_^
I dunno, really. Not anime/manga I don't think, and not like Ghibli or Disney either? It varies from page to page. If a panel is a close up I tend to put in more detail, but if it's a distant/action shot it's way more sketchy. Here are some examples:
I guess most people who saw my art style would automatically assume it's anime, simply because I choose to draw semi realistically.
I have a style that's anime and cartoony.
I guess you could call my drawing style Manga if you wanted. It wasn't my intention to immitate manga, I was just effected by the things I watch and read. It's mostly anime and manga tho. It looks a little something like this:
If you like what you see why not check out my comic Shapeshifter
A lot of people say I have a anime style but I'm trying to get away from that ahahaha I'm more taking inspiration from western cartoons now
I don't think there's really a good way to describe my style. When I first started drawing I was entirely self-taught and never even thought to go online for tutorials, tips etc. I just started drawing. As I went on I tried to imitate author's I liked just to get a feel for things but I struggled with that. Honestly, I think I draw the way I write: messy but distinctly me.
I like the way you draw long legs, as weird as that sounds. People always say I give my characters large lips x.x
Same here I guess. But my inking is way different.
Wow the coloring is so pretty!!!Don't worry, I don't think it's a "manga bird" although that's a pretty hilarious comment x'DDD
Yeah, I don't know how that developed but I really like the long legs too.
I'm actually jealous that you can draw lips. I can only convey lips in close ups and even then it take s me forever to even make them look decent.
