That's true, but it goes both ways. If you judge an outsider because you were mistreated by one once, then you're not much better then the judgemental bully that abused you once. Two wrongs don't make a right, they just keep the circle of hate turning.

It is not bad, nor did I ever say that. But the topic is a question why Tapastic has a bad rep. And the reason is the community is pretty exclusive. Diverse in many ways, perhaps not so much in thought. That's the case I was building as an argument on what I think is the reason. Any small exclus…

Or maybe people of mixed opinions will visit the website, that isn't automatically a negative thing. But my point was never about what the website promotes, but how open the community is to other things.

I never said anything about what get's promoted, I said what's "thriving". Which is to say they are popular. I just looked at the popular section of Tapas, and if I only count the ones that are obvious LGBT+ comics (BL label and such) they clearly dominate there. That's what I mean. My point is no…

People abuse algorithms all the time. I know from a very good source that on Webtoons if an episode get's flagged too much it is automatically taken down temporarily for review. You said it yourself it's a big website so they can't do everything manually. Majority of the episodes taken down are…

I know how Tapas works, thank you. What I said was Action Adventure and also Horror thrive more on Webtoons than on Tapastic, and that creates a more balanced popular section. That's not to say Romance doesn't thrive on Webtoons though, it's just more evenly spaced out. And since LGBT+ comics a…

You like Tapas for your own reasons and refuse to see it's negative issues. Your reasoning is very subjective on this. Webtoons has its fair share of "Gay Stuff" as you put it. Same goes for the featured section. They also just recently had a promotion for pride month where they exclusively promot…

"Snowflake" doesn't refer to sexuality, gender identity, or the fact that one is from a minority. What it refers to is a type of behaviour: A "Snowflake" is immature, but also self righteous. Not a good combination. The "I've been born in the wrong generation because I don't like today's music" …

Well Ex users have valid reasons for disliking Tapas, not much one can do about that. To finish off I don't know how Tapas can fix it's Image in the eyes of the larger internet. Perhaps be a bit more inclusive. About the criticism: I think the problem stems from this mentality that "why are you…

Hmm.. I don't think that's much of a reason, maybe because Tapastic creators, but most creators in general are very sensitive to criticism (not hate, criticism). I see it a lot on the forums, creators of left leaning content (by that what I mean is BL, LGBT+ and of the sort) are quick to accuse a…

Well you are definately right. Tapastic is the but of jokes all over the internet. Similarly to how Tumblr is. The terms of service thing didn't help, but the website has a reputation of being populated by "snowflakes" as they say.

I just deleted my whole comic and it asked for a confirmation, don't worry about it.

Amazing how this topic got derailed (I know I'm partialy responsible) I think it's a bit sad that nowadays, you can say that IF you are a certain kind of person I will help you. In this post, everyone welcome was included with editor-like precision except one group of people that's why it became …

I make an Adventure-Fantasy comic, and I stopped mirroring my comic on Tapastic. There are no readers here to update for.

Let the Ramen-haired love flow throgh you!

Nicleback is not that bad man c'mon

White men don't need support from white men

I don't know, what do you think?

to be fair, you don't know that.

Because white men are not important.

You are very quick to think the worst of people lol

The problem is with this preception you have of critique, that if it's unsolicited it's rude... NO IT'S NOT! Hate and troll comments are rude. The worst fair reaction to a criticue would be. "Thank you for taking the time to write this up. I'll consider the things you said" That's it end of story…

Back in the IB days, I was told I had street-cred for having thick skin when being critisized. I think it's sad that being able to hear other's oppinions and taking away what you need from it, is a special quality, especialy on the internet srsly..

Let's all pat eachother on the back!

If someone is really mean to you in the comments, to me that just means there is something fundamentally broken with them. I could'nt even imagine posting anything deliberately hurtfull to anyone, even if they deserve it. It just seems like a waste of time to me. Of someone wants to get you down …

sadly my job is best described as, vast stretches of boredom punctuated by moments of shear frustration and rage XD

For Shapeshifter I constantly Storyboard at work (I work in a factory) and it has multiple times in the past got me in trouble. Or the worst is when I leave and I forget to put my storyboards on my desk and not put it in my locker. My collegues don't really understand what I do and just make fun of …

That's exactly what I was going trough until I remade my comic and rewrote my protaganist. He started off as a cliche brooding Sasuke rip-off pretty much. Sow I feel a lot better about him. What I did was write a very complex character and don't tell the reader about him. I put him in situations wh…
