Closest thing I have to an irrational fear are flesh-eating scarab beetles, like the ones from the hit late-90's film, The Mummy, starring Brendan Fraser I remember watching the movie when I was like 5-6 and the scenes with the scarabs crawling under skin always gave me the creeps lol

My worst fear is taking the life of an innocent soul(s). I never killed before, but I had a dream that I murdered innocent souls and BOY that was the worst thing I think I would ever do.

Anything that’s not alive but they put faces on them anyway. Eerr. Anything that seems uncanny. Why do they put faces on EVERYTHING!? WHY!?

Also the water and how deep the ocean is.

is there a version of trypophobia that has to do with things coming out of holes? Cause that one would be mine. I don't actually give a shit if you show me pictures of a bunch of holes but if a bunch of shit comes out of those holes like slugs or bats or lizards or something (things I'm also normally pretty cool with and adore) my brain suddently has a panic attack be them coming out slowly or quickly. It's just upsetting

I actually have no idea... and I'm too scared to go look up phobias to find out in case I develop a new one... but I feel like you can make anything into an "official" phobia by just sticking the Greek name of the thing with -"phobia" on the end.

Stuff coming out of holes does make me throw up. I remember seeing baby frogs coming out of their mother's backs.... that's traumatizing. Car crashes are scary.

I have this one specific fear where I hate when women I find attractive get killed out of nowhere. Specifically calm, quiet women who BARELY say a word in movies (if they have glasses, I'll probably freak out more). I jump when they get the most brutal deaths. I guess GTA V (where the lawyer lady accidentally gets herself sliced up in the jet engine, turning into a red cloud) and Akira (Tetsuo's girlfriend being popped like a pimple) messed me up as a kid. Boondocks even had that scene where Luna blew herself up in the car... although I'm starting to detect a pattern with these characters used for the writer to say stuff like "hang around with dangerous men and you'll suffer an equally ugly fate no matter who you are".

Also.... woodchippers... and this fear where tall people accidentally get their heads chopped off by helicopters. And jet engines. Anything with spinning blades is a no-go.

I was going to say demons, but I actually think I'd place that in the rational fear department because with stuff you don't understand, you gotta be on your toes with that kinda stuff. :T

Ghosts I don't find scary though.

I mean this is for stick figure isekai so I'll also throw in animorphs, I only read the opening chapter of one of their books but it was talking about how if they stay as animals too long they can't change back and that these children can be infected by the aliens during transformation and have their bodies change into that of an alien. That legitimately gave me one of my worst ever nightmares when every time I felt my heartbeat my body warped further into something unhuman. I was like 10.

You could take this a goofy way -D read animorphs once and was terrified of becoming the middle transformation- or in a very very bad way, like the enigma of amigara fault.

-Something I'd never say because I'm not that cool. I'm unfortunately just constantly anxious and afraid of literally everything. As a kid, I was scared of an episode of Thomas the Tank Engine, I was scared of the ghosts in the game Alex Kidd in Miracle World, I was scared of a vampire I imagined lived under the stairs...

When I was like ten, I had a fear of spontaneous combustion. Idk haha. I was afraid that I would suddenly burst into flames and leave behind a pile of ashes and no one would ever know what happened to me.

Tomas the tank engine is terrifying, his mouth is the perfect height to just eat a person. Also the animation? horror magnified.
