First time I ever drew this guy. This is Harmachis. He was a Dunamis (a special, extremely rare kind of shapeshifter), and he’s been dead for over 4,000 years. In my story he is responsible for a genocide (though he has spent the last 4000 years in the afterlife trying to atone for that). He was king of the shapeshifters in Egypt and imposed his will upon all other races (including humans, werewolves, vampires, and more). He drove them as slaves to build what would later be known as the Egyptian Sphinx, and he treated them with such cruelty that they found a way to not only kill him, but also tried to eliminate the shapeshifters over the long run by removing their ability to procreate naturally. It almost worked, until Daecon came along.
Daecon, a unique and particularly powerful Dunamis and currently the reluctant king of the shapeshifters, has the ability to visit the afterlife (known as the Astral Plain in my story) and converse with the deceased, and Harmachis has been using this capability to talk to Daecon in an attempt to guide him and prevent him from making the same mistakes that he did.
