What's your OCs favorite song? What songs would they associate with the other characters

Alicia's favorite song is hard for her to pick, she really likes "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" by Frankie Valley and The Four Seasons, "Fly Me Too The Moon" by Frank Sinatra, and "I'll Never Not Love You" by Michael Buble.

The song she would associate with Kattar would probably be "Naked" by James Arthur.

Kattar's favorite song is "Let You Down" by SWS. But he would associate several songs with Alicia. "Lose it All" by Sam Tompkins would be one, but he's never heard it, so out of songs he has heard ""Still Into You" and "The Exception" by Paramore, as well as "If I'm James Dean You're Audrey Hepburn."

Tbh, Jinwoo doesn't listen to much music, but he likes some really chill songs he's heard like "Dudududu" by Jeong Sewoon and "Concrete" by Cheeze. He never ever speaks Korean, but he does understand it completely.

He also relates really strongly to "Waving Through a Window."

James Arthur is much too intense for him, but he would associate the song "Free Falling" with Kimberly if he could manage to listen to it. As for songs he has heard, maybe just that Keshi line "What can I do/ I thought you were an angel/ I lost myself when I caught sight of you."

And for Kimberly, her favorite song is "Choker" by TOP, but the song she would probably associate with Jinwoo would be "From the Start" by Laufey or "Only Us" from Dear Evan Hansen (she loves musicals.)

Hallie's favorite song is impossible to choose, though she likes a lot of Kpop the song she would associate with Mad would be that song from "The Land Before Time" that goes something like "I need you like a kick in the pants."

ATM Melissa's song is probably "Easy on me" by Adele. But she would probably associate "Like My Father" by Jax with her husband, because he's really a lot like this with all the sweet things he does, except he's a lot milder, so saying flirtatious things is pretty rare for him, and he wouldn't burn the dinner. But he's very gentlemanly and goes out of his way to care for her.

Leia's favorite song is "Breaking the Habit" by Linkin Park, and she would associate it with her little brother she's trying desperately to save from his eating disorder.

Tetsu's favorite song is "Takeda no Komoriuta" by the Red Birds. It's just the sort of story he'd act out on stage while he sings. The song is about a little girl who is employed by a family to take care of their infant son. She can see the mountains as she does her hard work with him on her back. She longs to go over the mountains to see her family, but she can't. She is bound there. As an onnagata, Tetsu would perform this scene faithfully and sing with all the sorrow, yet hope, that this girl has. He likes the song, because it is a strange mixture of sorrow and hope. It's a song with intense longing.

that sounds like a really pretty song. It actually is the same sort of mindset I write into so many of my stories and poems about the sea here where I live among the mountains on my island.

Another song that Kattar would associate with Alicia (if he listened to Justin Bieber, but he doesn't lol) is "Anyone."

But also "I'll Never Not Love You" by Michael Buble, which I definitely DO want to include in the story at some point because he has most definitely heard the song before, since Alicia loves Michael Buble, and this is her favorite of his songs.

Currently his favorite songs are "Full Speed Ahead" and "The Challenge" from "Epic: The Musical."

He'd probably associate something summery and bright with his older sister Honey because she has such an american-beach bunny energy to her. Something like "That's What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction would suit her well.

He'd probably associate "Sunflower" by Amie Chan with his little sister Cocoa.

Yes, these are both love songs, but he wants them to know how pretty they are.

He'd probably associate something a little more r&b vibe with Essence, like "Focus" by H.E.R.

Essence doesn't listen to a lot of music and she doesn't particularly care for it, but she will occasionally listen to really soft sounding music to try to calm her ears down because they often literally hurt. She is very sensitive to noise, so she can use softer music as a sort of hearing therapy. In that case, she'll probably listen to something like "Sunkissed" or "Ultimately" by Khai Dreams or "He Loves Me" by Jill Scott. These are love songs, but she doesn't really care about the lyrics as much as she cares about the intensity of the music.

When...well spoilers...

Lyrics wise, by the middle point of the story she'd probably associate "What Do You Want From Me" by Adam Lambert with Dominic, but she'd never play the song because it would leave her ears ringing and her head buzzing.

Texas's favorite song is "Gods Menu" by Stray Kids. Chili's favorite song is "Any Song" by Zico. They are both very into Korean music, though neither of them are Korean lol.

As for the songs they would associate with each other, Chili would probably associate "Critical Beauty" by Pentagon with Texas. Texas would probably associate "Knock Knock" by Twice or "Pop" by Nayeon with Chili.

Therese George's favorite song is called "Butterfly Wings" by a hippie rock band that doesn't exist in the irl world called "Honey." Her husband associates it with her for plot-related reasons, so she's very attached to it.
