I haven’t written anything since August last year. I started working on my story back in 2022 when an idea popped into my head, and it took almost two years to finish the manuscript by August 2024.
Between 2022 and 2024, I discovered this website and had a few chapters ready, but I didn’t upload them. I wasn’t confident I could keep up with the pressure of regular updates, so I focused on finishing the story first. Once I completed the manuscript and it felt like a solid, cohesive piece, I finally started uploading it—even though I wasn’t sure if others would like it as much as I did.
Thankfully, the feedback from readers—both online and people I know—has been really positive, which feels amazing!
But ever since I started uploading, I haven’t written a single new word. It’s almost been a year, and the silence is starting to feel dangerous. I want to begin my second book, but procrastination and the want of starting to work on a new idea keeps holding me back.
So, as I wander through these forums thinking about all this, I wanted to ask—how do you wrote/writing your story????
- Have you wrote the whole manuscript before starting to upload??? Or,
- Did you planned the structure of the story and as you upload it you're writing the story??? Or,
- You're figuring out the story as you write it??? Or,
- You're story is of a kind that needs to be wrote as it moves forward (Never ending kind of one)????

And since I am asking i need to ask one more thing. On what should I work next???? (Answer only of you want to)
- Second book in volkermord series that explores some serious past.
- A zombie apocalypse kinda story with no zombies that explores the tendency of humans to protect those who they care about.
- A love story whose concept revolves around the hands of a clock
