hi!
i'm currently working on my zombie drama, deadpan. i'm 3 episodes in, which is about 4 pages each. i'm having an issue with tapas' episode system though.
since i'm building a huge buffer before i post (each episode takes a solid week of work), i would like to post either the prologue, or the front cover a while before i start posting episodes, so people can get a feel for the comic or at least the art.
if i post the front cover, tapas will classify that as an episode, and till the end of time my comic will be one episode ahead of the actual episode, so the title will be "episode 23" but tapas will name is "episode 24"... i'm being picky, i know, but it bothers me.
posting the prologue would work as episode 1 according to tapas' system, which would be fine, but then i'd have to put the cover on the end of that or the end of episode 2 to stop the same number thing happening.
also in terms of the story, i'm not sure where the cover would go. if it were a printed comic (i'm not planning it to be, since it's all in vertical format), it would be at the front, but i think story wise it fits better after the first early plot point and cliffhanger. or at the end of the prologue to mark the beginning of the story...
where did you put your front cover? at the very start, on its own? attached to an episode? i'd love some advice here~
