Where can I find free non copyrighted sound effects for my comic dub?

I’m going to a comic dub soon for my story Cracking Eggs as it’s almost finished. In the past I’ve always used a website called Orange Free Sounds in my school days but I would like to use other websites to find more.

So that’s why I’m asking this question.

Where do any of you guys find the sounds to your comic dubs?

just remember to check the licence of the files you choose to download (some will require you crediting the author, some may specify that you should link to them, with some you can do absolutely how you please)

Try the BBC Sound Effects Library. It’s the one I always use in my audio plays, and it’s one I would deeply recommend to anyone in need of sound effects. I would also consider using Pixabay, since that has also been useful.

Edit: if you’re looking for music as well, BBC have one for that as well. BBC Production Music, it’s called.
